If you want to edit your post is to hit the edit button, then type "Please Remove" in the subject line. It will be removed, and you can replace it with a new post.

The only drawback is that any replies to your original post will be deleted along with it.

OK..I make a post...I read it and note a couple mistakes and go back and edit to correct.  It then disapears from the board.  Whats up...Do edits automatically get moderated?  BTW this was the NY Board not DC...but I know DC members are smarter than NYers [ except , of course, for me]

I am sure I've edited before...guess I just did not notice. I'm sure there is a good reason they are moderated, but now I am curious as to why?

make sure that things stay relatively on the up and up.  Not because you fix your grammar or whatever, but if you make comments about someone or something, then quickly edit them out and try to get it by the mods, it would be flagged.
