Please bear in mind that for most people. the short the hair, the more prickly it becomes. Not so fun when someone else's shaved parts contact it. Please do trim, but leave it long enough to still be soft (1/2"-1"). And a bit of conditioner in the shower does wonders as well!
It appeared that some providers I respect and look up to, like Cara Saint James, prefer a gent with well trimmed pubes or shaved. So I did it shaved it bald, but OMG.... as it's growing back it itches like hell.... just like last time I did it 15 years ago!@$! LOL
After scratching the itch so many times, friggin red spots are appearing at the pores making it look like I caught some kind of STD when I am in fact 100% squeeky clean right now. (tested very recently) Worried, cuz I got an appointment with a gorgeous babe coming up soon and don't want her thinking it's STD!
I can however attest that it did get me much better service from a few ladies. hint: They went boldly where not many women has gone before!
the more you shave the less you will be irritated. I know your pain bc the first time I did it I had the same problem and thought I would kill the friend who gave me the advice to go smooth. But trust me...the "hobby" bush (or bushless hobby area)is the best way to insure some great service along with being extra clean. Even if you have just showered...a quick rinse off and soap gets you a long way. Like a little insurance policy for some well earned money and time.
A) Shave/trim about 3 to 5 days prior to the appointment. B) Get in a routine (otherwise the first time or two your "area" is going to react like WTF. C) If your experiencing redness or itching...baby powder works wonders...use that a day or two before to calm skin. D) A day or two before...after work...wear loose-fitting boxers around thehouse to "air it out". E) Don't scratch...like the used to say about things like chicken pox...it'll just inflame the area.
I agree with the advice about "trimming" vs shave. You want a military high-and-tight...not bald. I'd presume the tighter you cut the more iritation you'll have. The only thing you should get clean is your sack.
