crossed decked to just about every lant fleet ship when I was the CVBG Voyage repair officer.  The list is too long for here. maybe over a beer

Disability? basically I need a new spine from C1 to C7.  Go in for sugery in a couple of weeks for a complete overhaul of the neck

Will there be any provider offering Veteran's Day specials for us Vets?  I'd like to storm her beaches, assault her landing strip, fire my torpedo and shoot across her bow.

and I believe that it will be *very* special -

no discount required

Is a gal that is coming to visit from Texas.  Below is a link to her site and you can find her reviews under the name ANGEL / WICKED MILF.  She has a lot of high scores and the reviews look good.

As someone who donated 20 plus years to the Navy I really appreciate the idea of a military discount. She will definitely get my business.

I just wish she was in town when I was.

what was your rate? did you do any cruises?

Without revealing too much, retired as a Commander (O-5), Black Shoe, pump kicking Snipe. For those that don't speak Navy that is a Surface Warfare Officer who is in engineering.  I did 4 IO cruises, 5 Med Cruises, 2 Unitas, 2 Baltops, the list of exercises and operations is fairly extensive. Managed to collect 15 sea service ribbons before they finally made me go to shore duty. Mostly a Tin Can Drive but did several years on a flat top. The handle comes from my favorite assignment as Chief Engineer which in the SWO world is called CHENG

23 years in the USAF.....now, about those discounts, LOL

But ANGEL / WICKED MILF is coming to town in November.  See my post above for her site, first lady I have seen that really put a lot of thought into the veterans which I think is pretty nice.  If I was in town I would see her in a heartbeat but since I won't be here I hope someone will tell me how she was.

Congrats and thanks for your service.  So how about that navy football team?

: How can a provider tell if a hobbyist is a Military Vet?

For me: I take honoring our men in women in the armed forces, very seriously. Therefore I *must* see a Military ID. If someone says they ONLY have discharge papers. Then I must see a DL & the discharge papers. And the photos on the DL (must be of the man I am meeting) and the name on the DL & discharge papers must match both documents.  You don't have to show up in uniform. However, if you do. Your bound to make someone teary eyed. It's truly an honor to know someone who's served our Country.

And retirees or reservists would have their ID card too. At the extreme end of the spectrum woul dbe folks like me, card carrying Disabled Veterans with their DAV / American Legion / VFW ID cards.    Not really any different than providers that want to see an ID when you get into the room.

The gal in my earlier post requires that you show your mil ID if you are claiming the mil discount.

How can we prove we are vets?  Bring our dd214?  Lol!!

Gentlemen, please don't forget about those of us providers, who also served in the military....personally, I would love to be rewarded for my years of service with some purring...

Our last encounter was fantastic. Hope you come to town again soon! You are a sweetie!

I look forward to meeting you someday soon...

Saw her last time she was in town, being an old Navy guy she didn't make me request permission to "come aboard". So after a shot across her bow, it was away the boarding team to secure the landing strip.

Best naval exercise I ever participated in

I think it would be wonderful to have a special that week. :) I'm a big believer in giving back.

Any special to those on this board who fought Taliban & Osama when the US were supporting him?
When the US was calling them "freedom fighters", but WE knew already...
