Because of the prices. I have seen several BP providers at $100 hour rates, $60 half hour rates. Places were slightly messy but at the end I had my fun. One I saw 14 times.

Love the value just too much risk for me. Having to go to a shady neighborhood and normally not the prettiest girls. But for $100 not too bad I guess better than paying $300-400/hr for average looking girls who stay at better locations.

I totally understand.  I have always been willling to play in the $250-350 range but most of the ads on TER are $400+.  I am not a cheap guy and I do ok financially but I always pass on the $400 and up ladies. I am sure some will negotiate but then the service is not as good or it affects their attitude , so I never try to negotiate.

Backpage has ruined the markets for girls in the $300 range in some cities because guys are so used to paying for hundred dollar specials.  It results in the mid range girls not going to those cities anymore because the business isn't there.  Then guys start to complain and ask why they don't have as many 'good, well reviewed, reputable' girls coming to their area anymore.  Providence, RI is a prime example.  

Seems like it should drive the rates of the mid range escorts down but it doesn't. It just keeps them from touring or working in those cities as much, from what I've seen over the past 4 years.  

Meh. I advertise on BP and weed out any guys who can't be screened, so I don't, nor have I ever, talked bad about the site.  Obviously, all the same guys who look here, P411, etc... check out BP as well.

... but make no mistake it's great (BP) in some places.

Actually did pretty well recently this 2nd time around tho in the Providence RI area (since you mentioned it lol) and most of my appts came directly from BP (though some also may have seen me on date-check/p411/TER as well). And left there having to turn down a few appts until my next visit.  

But ... yeah ... go some places and they act like a 250hr (for pre-booking ahead of time) on BP is expensive! lol.
