My rank order:
Affair-organic, risky when she's married, predominantly short time experiences, $
Sugar Baby-requires work and knowledge, real connection, no clock, feelings, felt like dating, $$$
Provider-homework, on the clock, known entity, exciting, anticipation, $$
Internet porn-reliable, always available, ¢
Wife-$$$$

Married, providers in the early 2000's (so many wonderful experiences), in the Sugar Bowl for 10+ years and it was phenomenal but incredibly time consuming, wading back into the hobby.

I’m a but older (62) and have had both Sugar Babies and regular providers. Other than not being “on the clock” not sure anymore if the dynamic is much different.
I’m curious what others have experienced or feel.

I have had some excellent arrangements on Seeking here in DC area as well as a couple other cities.  It is definitely more work and there have been times I found it to be too much work then I play here more often.  However, it seems finding younger, independent, native English speaking women here is becoming more difficult and more expensive.

My sb is less about business and more about the things we do together. Travel , concerts etc not so much about  the green. While escorts are all about the pay.  Which is fine 😊

SB is more carefree and is never watching the clock. I love monthly arrangements because you know you're going to have fun. The best is enjoying your time getting spoiled and reciprocating. I prefer SB.

provider relationships [especially once you find a few regulars you consider a ''friend'' more than just a ''client''] can also be pretty great as well...

You hire sugarbabies yourself? Or you mean you prefer being a sugarbaby more than being a provider

Agree.  I've only had one sugar baby, though we never labeled it.  She has almost half my age.  Worked at a company I owned.  I sold the company six months after she was first hired.  A month afterward, she sends a friend request on IG.  I'm not very active on IG but I do check it.  We message, we start having lunch, then dinner, then sex after dinner.  It was incredible.  The sex was mind blowing.  This was over six years ago and I still remember the moment I came inside her for the first time.  The look on her face is priceless.  We were "dating" for over six months.  I paid for everything: dinner, trips, clothes, some jewelry, etc.  She was expensive, but worth it.  And that's the point (to me)).  She was worth it.  She was beautiful, sexy, attentive and happy.  Most importantly, she never forced me carve out time for her.  It was casual but present.  I've also had a wife who cost me ten times more.  She was not worth it.

As for providers, they're perfect for when you need release without the connection.  Both have their places.

Having a dependable local regular is top order for me. Someone knowing what buttons to push and being able to have an intelligent conversation is great.

The early 2000s were a golden era for traveling escorts. All the Florida agencies sending girls to cities around the country. Who were hot, fun, willing, not jaded. What a headache trying to figure out which girl to see each week! If only I could have afforded more…

The SB experience is far far better than Providers because the "golden era" of this is long over and done.

Even if you treat your SB relationship like a quasi-provider relationship, it dwarfs the current scene.

Current providers are so bizarre and disingenious nowadays (and not to say they haven't always been, it's just worse)
- This trend or normalization of requiring a deposit
- intrusive verification/ vetting ( you know it's troubling times when they no long take references but want your LinkedIn and several key pieces of personal data)
- PSE isn't PSE and GFE isnt GFE
