Question on testing

Is it rude to ask a provider when was the last time she got tested or how often she does it? Or to ask her for the result?

But be prepared yourself to be an upstanding hobbiest and have current ones as well!!

maybe I'm just a terrible bitch, but email me asking me for my results or anything related to testing and prepare to have the equivalent of a door slammed in your face.

I actually am clearly a grouchy bitch because my first thought reading that is the subtext that you think I'm dumb enough to not maintain my body and health? Wouldn't it be extremely bad for business if I was STI/STD positive and spreading them? What does the act of asking even prove? If I were the person to have something and continue working, why would I share that with you? Wouldn't I just lie or falsify the documents?

Also the majority of risk falls on women. We are much more susceptible to catching anything. So really, if anyone should be asking for papers, it should be us of you, but we realize that's just dumb and unreasonable. So we don't.

Clearly there are ladies who do not share my opinion. Great. Maybe y'all can work out a lovely result exchange. The rest of us are over here not tolerating this discussion, but just as disease free.

xo

basically talks about how we overestimate sex risks and underestimate the things that are actually deadly. Food for thought.

Incubation period varies for different STDs and knowing someone was tested one week ago etc tells you nothing useful.

Someone who ignores testing might also lie about it to keep business.

Just asking can tar you as naive, a trouble maker, or insulting.

I had a lady tell me "hold on gotta take my birth control" wtf? She didnt have a SO. Why should she need it? Hmmmm.

....also a plus is using it to control periods (less I see them the better).
Seriously don't overthink why a lady without an SO would need to take her birth control. Be glad she remembered anyways.

you can bet your sweet ass I would be taking double precautions and not just relying on a thin layer of latex to protect me from all those billions of little swimmers being launched into my canal.

good point. i don't "finish" that way with her but she does have other clients.

For a moment, it made wonder...

You are so right. I have heard stories about breakage and condoms slipping off during the act (as in inside the provider).

Also Mocha is totally on point about the other reasons for being on BC.

We can never be too careful.
