I am seeing rates that are unbelievable today, 1 provider is offering 2 hours for 180 another 2 hours for 200.


My buddy booked an appointment with a provider for 1/2 hour for 100. After the 1/2 hour was over the provider was begging him to stay, he had to walk out on her after 1 hour. Apparently she was pretty lonely and the phone was not ringing.

Not sure what is causing demand to be down so much (people busted, heat, and/or bad economy)

Are you booking 2 hours are still just booking 1/2 to 1 hour appointments with these type of rates ?

People vacationing, heat, July and early August are usually slow.  

If your the provider du jour it probably doesn't have to much of an impact.  IMHO.

My business is down but it is always down in the summer. Leaves me more time to play. However my guess is at those rates "you get what you pay for" Taking one for the team is one thing, but as the OP stated bottom feeding is another.

You might be right about the specific ladies, but that may not be the case with entire business. I haven't seen the popular ladies or agencies slashing their rates.

Summer can be up and down, but it certainly isn't dead. At least not for me and the ladies I know. Wow 200.00 for 2 hours? That's a steal! But I travel here and there and people are paying to play. Summer months can get a little slower at times but really then the next day or week will make up for it. I just hope everyones smart with their money to survive when it gets a little slower.
