Been reading references to "pvp" and "p2p" but can't find what this means even in the newcomers acronyms guide.  Anybody able to help my confusion?

No idea on pvp but p2p means pay to play

I think it means pay to play

P2P.... privates to privates.  
You can use slang acronyms if you like, but you get the drift.
PvP....? Probably same thing
