A thread I wrote below about a providers fake pics got me to thinking about the benefit of TER. All I can say from the viewpoint of a hobbyist in summary is, Thank You TER and all the Great Ladies who use it.

Even though I have been hobbying all over the world for 28 years, this year is the first I year and the DMV is the first area I have used a computer for researching providers. Without something like TER or a best friend with personal knowledge to ask, it isn't an easy avenue to scan through all of the sites and pick a winner. Not that they aren't there, but it seems there are so many with either fake pics, information or bad intent that it makes you skeptical of everyone.

Here was the pattern when I started using online sites prior to TER:

#1 - Very first ever from a board was from Eros. She showed up and wasn't a bait-n-switch. She was a sit and look at me and tell me she was a companion for conversation and anything else was illegal. Terrible start but luckily I don't give up easy.

#2 & #3 - The 2nd & 3rd were a bait and switch but the girl was good looking so I let her stay. First I was pissed but my horniness took over and she performed fine. It was interesting that these two had two different sets of pictures and both times it turned out to be the same girl who didn't match either set.

#4 - Bait-n-switch but she turned out to be hotter than the pics so I gave in quickly. It's not like I want someone standing outside my door in my apartment building and argue with them over who they are anyway. She wanted to protect her identity she said.

#5 - Bait-n-switch but at least when I asked her if the pics were her she said no but they were so close that she was as good or better or I could turn her away. At least I appreciated her honesty and tried it. She was right.

#6 - From an agency and the pics were easily 10 years old. She was worth doing but afterwards I was pissed and haven't used that agency again. She was independent but I talked to the agency who made her reservations and they have removed her.

#8 & #9 - Neither were bait-n-switch but both were big time up sell which pisses me off as much as a bait-n-switch. If I knew that before the visit or even at the start of the visit it would be different but during the action is sneaky.

#10+ - Life has been 100% better as I found TER and haven't been disappointed yet. I also found that a significant amount of the ones I would have considered off CityVibe, Backpage, or Eros would have been  bait-n-switch or fake in someone so it has saved me a lot of aggregation.

The only thing I would improve in TER is a Master Search because I find that while I search the reviews, Tineye, etc., sometimes there is a comment from someone on a board (general discussion or even provider) that I miss. You have to search each area independently and it would be great to have one quick search box on the TER main page that would let you search by Name, Phone, Email, Agency, or TER ID which would search all of TER for you.

Anyway, thanks to TER, my hobbying days are worth looking forward to with excited anticipation versus excited uncertainty (if that makes sense).

What took you so long to find TER? Granted that Internet wasn't there when you popped your hobby cherry, but TER has been around since 1999. It took me only 6 months before I found TER.

Good question. First, I wasn't looking for anything like a TER, I was just looking at sites that came up like Backpage (I know, great site to start with).

Second, I actually found and started using TER after about 3 months. I read it for a few days, did some research and saw the value. I decided to go ahead and join VIP after about a week and just pay for the service. I mainly used it for a research tool for a while and wasn't very active in posting or reviews due to travel, etc.

Getting the VIP membership is the best thing you did. I've been on TER since 2004. It's a funny story how I found TER...

Prior to TER, I also used EROS, but only one time though. Found this hot chic that I thought I would have fun banging, so called her up for an outcall appointment. The appointment was around 10:00 PM. The girl showed up around 1:00 AM. I should have cancelled, but little guy was hyper active.  She said NO SEX, NO BBBJ. Gave me a HJ and charged me $350.00.

That night I found myself thinking that how is it possible that I am in DC area and level of service is so poor. It didn't make any sense, as I had hobbied in other parts of the country (much smaller towns) and experienced superior service.  I undertook a major search operation for a better provider. Found this DC area provider - the legendary DC Simone, who had stellar reviews. On her website I found link to TER.
