It is not necessary to pay $$$ to pay for a professionally designed site with lots of bells and whistles.
You probably know about the free ones so use one of them! Just put information on your site you want people to know about you and the required information from anyone wishing to contact you.

If you can, try to display your personality and interests on your site. Dont be afraid to lay out peramiters. Take a look at some others to see what you like and use their model when constructing yours.

Hope this gives you a little guidance Macy. Its a learning process for sure. Oh, to answer your question, I have seen girls without their own site but its' pretty unusual these days.

Best wishes to you and welcome to DC!

I've got a question.

Hobbyists,

How much does a good website influence your decision to visit with a provider?

How many of you would not visit with a girl who doesn't have a website of her own?

I'm in the process of having one designed/built.

How important was it that I do this?

I'm kind of new to this whole thing and I'm still trying to find my way.

Thanks for the feedback.

MACY

Personally, I think a website is important.  You can give your customers a lot more info and also really set a "mood".  In my opinion, the manner a woman presents herself sets a tone.  If you're travelling, we as "friends" can plan and anticipate.  You'll have a means to include new photos and changes things as you see fit.

A website can centralize your info and expand the scope of your availability.

I would recommend a site...and if your clientele is important, make sure it is updated.

Of course, I can only speak for myself but I consider the website very important.  The polish of your website goes along way to help me make a judgement call on your professionalize and commitment to your work.   A good website tells me this is your business and you take your profession seriously.  Thrown up websites make me wary; the provider may not be reliable or is only in it for some quick cash.

Of course, once you are established, you may not even need a website.  Dara had a very simple site without pictures but I am sure she is not staved for work.  Samantha in Rockville is another; I hardly see her advertise anymore.  Thanks for making my think of her; I sooooo need to schedule another appointment with her.  It's been two years too long! ;)

A good website is very important.  It helps convey your personality, looks, likes/dislikes.  I don't even bother reading reviews of ladies that don't have a personal website.

which in turn will strongly influence the clientele you attract.  It's an opportunity to set yourself apart from other providers and project something that will be unique about the "Macy Experience".  Other advice about keeping your site current is right on.  Best of luck and welcome to the DC area.

But for me, it does not have to be too fancy. I just want to see reasonably accurate pics and at least an idea of what your personality is like.

A professional website is very important to hobbyists doing research. It conveys that you are serious about being a provider and intend to do this for a while. It also allows you to provide information about yourself so hobbyists can decide if you match their desires, which will lead to better sessions.

I find it useful in fleshing out information about a lady.  It is certainly preferable to "I have a random Backpage ad up", but it does need to be tended.  I think an inexpensive site with quality content (pictures, writing) and useful information (accurate rates, FAQ, calendar, links to reviews) beats a very pretty site that doesn't tell you much.  I don't personally like seeing ladies whose only appeal is "mystery, and I will talk myself up so much that I seem like the next coming of Liz Taylor".

It's not an absolute dealbreaker to not have any sort of site, but it does help me make my decision.
