I always run across ads for these type of sites. They market as the x-rated and/or booty call versions of so-called legit, mainstream sites like Match.Com.
The $64 question is what is the success rates on such sites as these?
Anyone out there have any real experience with these sites?

Have never checked out Ashley Madison. Mainly because I think the risk of getting too attached to each other could cause more problems than what it's worth. It's one thing to get caught up in a LE sweep and quite another to be part of a divorce settlement. Hers, yours or both.

If you make a free account on Ashley Madison, you'll immediately start getting messages from names like SluttyWife69 and HornyWet25920. Except you can't read them or respond without paying for membership, so you drop a few dollars on a membership. You test the waters with some initial conversation with those girls that enticed you to sign up, only to find that they sound oddly similar at first and stop writing back shortly afterward.
That's when you realize that there's some vague verbage in the Terms & Conditions that basically equates to "Not all of the accounts on Ashley Madison are from actual people, they're fakes that are used to sucker people into signing up and we just pass it off as market research or enhancing the user experience."
My SO hates when I make sexist generalizations about men and women, but this is a fact: Any service or event based around casual sex is going to have a 20:1 ratio of men to women at best, and the real women you'll find on this site are desperate 3's or 4's. I'm sure there are a few hot girls on the site, but it's extremely rare and takes a lot of effort to sift through the bullshit and uggo's.
They are SCAMS. I registered with $68 paid at front for 100 tokens, then, like Eric said, immediately some "hot" ID contacted me, but THAT'S IT. I tried to send a few flirting emails out, but never get any reply and not even "who viewed" you. Totally rip off. Save your $$$ for a better car wash or a few nice burgers.
AM is like a slot machine that never pays off! It is easy to get sucked into buying more tokens and the best thing that I can equate the chat sessions with is a peep show booth. Just as soon as things start getting interesting you need to insert a few more quarters. When I first tried AM about 8 years ago it was a bit better and I did meet someone that I hooked up with a few times when I was traveling on business, but over time it really turned into a waste.
My sense was always that there were 100s (1000s?) of men for every 'real' woman and I tried an experiment in which I created an account as a woman with a modest profile. Within 24 hours I had more than 300 e-mail messages and more cock pictures than you can imagine. It was also interesting to see that no one really seemed to actually read the profile. I mentioned several times that I only wanted to hear from guys over 35, but that clearly did not get through. That made me understand why it is unlikely that you will ever hear from the few real women using AM.
Sites like AM, AFF and POF (Plenty of Fish) offering NSA relationships are just scams and you are better off using that money with someone you meet on TER.

You are better off just using Match or Plenty of Fish. There are actual women on those sites, and many of them are more than happy to have a date and hook up that night. I tried them a couple years back and was shocked at the % who on either the first or second date wanted to have sex. I would say 80% of the first dates ended in at least a heavy make out session and probably 30% actual sex. The second dates was like around 80% sex...
Of course the down side is that when you break it off they will get mad and try to make you feel like a jerk (As if they did not know what they were doing, right? But hey...it gives them the mental excuse they seem to need I guess).
Because when I looked at AFF, they were either old fat cows or web cam girls or hookers. There wasn't a single "civi" on there that i would be seen in public with.
