I tried to learn Photoshop a couple of times and gave up. For work (my other job 😉) I use pic monkey and canva. Both are free online but I pay $6 month for extra features on pic monkey. It's really great! You can edit photos (very easy), adjust exposure and colors, add frames or text, and special effects. You can erase a blemish and even add highlights to hair! I've retouched photos for clients and they really liked the results. With canva, you can make social media updates or images for printing that look like a designer did them. I think there is more you can so in Photoshop but maybe these will help.
