Penis Tax
The only thing that the IRS has not yet taxed is the male penis. This is due to the fact that 40% of the time it is hanging around unemployed, 30% of the time it is hard up, 20% of the time it is pissed off and 10% of the time it is in the hole. On top of that, it has two dependents and they are both nuts.
Effective January 1, 2006, your penis will be taxed according to size.
Actually, it would make sense to legalize prostitution. Money the prostitutes make would be taxed, and police and communities will generate revenue. Plus, overstressed, underpaid police officers can free up their time going for real and dangerous criminals.
Too bad people don't even consider listening to reason nowadays.
How can you assume that providers don't pay taxes ? Many have corporations set up and they pay taxes such as the payroll tax. How do you think they can make such large bank deposits and accept credit cards ?
I'm not saying providers are tax cheats. However, the reality is, because prostitution is illegal, they cannot report most (if any) of their income as a prostitute. Even the corporations have to hide their occupation identity so it doesn't draw the attantion of LE; therefore, they can't report all income.
Of course, life and finances would be much simpler for everyone if prostitution were legalized, but unfortunately we live in a society where sex is taboo.
