If you screen, there is nowhere in the USA that is risky.
Old fashioned people remember years ago when MoCo attacked the adult entertainment industry. Fast forward 2013, MoCo is broke! No more money for attacking victimless crimes. Also, screening tools have improved. IMHO MoCo is perfectly reasonable for hobbying in the modern era!

Do you feel like you get the short end of the stick with incall? I don't see many gals hosting in Montgomery County, is that because the hobby isn't exciting there or do you guys feel uncomfortable visiting incalls in Montgomery County?
I'm thinking about hosting there once or twice a month, maybe in Silver Spring or Bethesda but don't want to come if it's not a good place to be.
In my experience I've hosted plenty of times in Montgomery County and never had any sort of issue. I mean if you are the type of person to have high traffic, then maybe, but high traffic/drawing attention to yourself can be an issue anywhere you go.
I think that there are plenty of incalls going on in MC, they just aren't advertised. That's generally my M.O. and I think it works just fine.
I guess I should also have qualified my statement by saying: -I do not post on Backpage or pretty much anywhere else. -I do not show face. -I never put the specific place/town (i.e. I'll say "Montgomery County Incall') in which I'll be staying. -I screen everyone thoroughly regardless of their quantity of reviews... -I stay at business class or above hotels and try to stay with ones that have busier lobbies and/or restaurant/bars. -I check-in looking as though I've had a long day at the office (business casual, glasses, etc, aka the most NON provider looking, NON attention getting clothing I have)
It would be great to have you here in Montgomery, but I am not sure that it is in your interest.
The number of ladies advertising as hosting here has fallen significantly over the years, and there are a fair number of prosecutions. Downtown Silver Spring is on the DC line anyway and downtown Bethesda is just a mile or two away.
The ladies might actually be better information sources than the guys on this one. YourMysteryDate has good advice, but unless you live here and have an established client base it may be hard to be both discreet enough to be safe and still get the word out about your availability.
Montgomery County LE is always trying to bust the ladies. They mainly go after the BP ones though. They do takes pictures off ads and show them to hotel front desks to see if a provider is a hotel to set up stings to bust her. The famous tactic is to wait for clients leaving the room and get them to spill beans. Other times at the cheaper motels they will pull the guy over and ask questions.
If they like you (you are not the fat type) they will give you a warning and tell you to never come back otherwise they will put in in jail the next time.
If you get busted and have a court date make sure you show up.
If you have drugs in the room and you are busted you will go the jail.
Most of the time they are looking to see if you are working for a pimp or agency.
Some of the hotels are pretty bad. Check the providers only board for details on which ones to avoid.
They do collect intel and give it to other LE jurisdictions in the region. They have been know to out providers and hobbyists on BP. Every once in a while you will see a BP ad with the VICE detective name and number looking for information.
Last but least they are men and some of the vice can't resist the temptation, some are known to hobby.

Be discreet, like everywhere else, and you shouldn't have a problem. MoCo LE is not targeting independent ladies. if you look anything remotely associated with human trafficking, they'll come after you. And don't be openly active in the hobbying community.
Do I wish that there were better hobbying opportunities in MoCo - absolutely. Do I think that it's worth getting busted over - HELL no. So when more experienced hobbyists are telling me not to schedule dates in MoCo b/c of increased LE... I'm definitely listening.
Yes, please come to Montgomery county. Rockville/gaithersburg is probably the best area. If you see guys from TER should not be a problem.

Montgomery County may have had some scaling back of expenditure in the Great Recession, but this area fared better than most and the the police are still very well-funded. This is one of the wealthiest counties in the country, and they can afford to do what they feel is a priority.
Oddly enough for a pretty left-leaning county even by the standards of its very blue state, enforcement of prostitution laws has been a priority for some local politicians, and they get enough public support on feminist and and anti-trafficking grounds to continue. You and I and everyone else reading this board (Montgomery County police aside) may think that these priorities are misplaced, but they are what they are.
Maybe enough high-quality screening can do the trick, but the fact that Montgomery is making this a priority when other local jurisdictions are not, means that the risks will still be higher here than with the same quality of screening in DC, Arlington, or Fairfax.
I would only go there if you have existing clientele. You're very young, that will raise red flags in Bethesda/Silver Spring. Its a pain in the a** to get there unless you live in the area. As a client, I personally would avoid it, but I live in South. I go to Tyson's because its an easy drive-albiet far, but easy. Crystal City is closer and easier, but not as easy as Tyson's.
Most providers are in Tyson's area for a reason and not in MoCo.
So what is the problem? gentlemen who like you they will drive up to one hour to see you .. if of course you do not work and see those on short notes next door 300 roses men .. set up appoitments well with safe dates and then you do not need take risks just take D*ks and roses.. am I correct?? gentlemen on ... DC - Montgomery is not far a ?? from Dupont circle ?? and Union station ? it is where I stay and be there end of June .. ask me out Kissess to you I mean in .. and may be out too
