I don't know about the other cities, but IMO the Big Apple is the best in terms of choice, talent and price. Even though some have disappeared, there are still plenty of good AMP options there.

I miss the old DC AMPs and was wondering if there are any full service AMPs within 2-3 hours from DC?  

I guess I dont need a specific name, just a general region.  I have today & tomorrow off and would love a road trip.

All my google searches return old information.

There was a big story in the baltimoresun regarding a bust in Towson.  I think most amp's are on alert.
