Have been fascinated by Nuru massage lately.  Saw the agency post below but did not want to steal there add.  History looks great, but Tysons can be a haul for someone.  Anyone know of any skilled Nuru providors North of the city, closer to or in Baltimore?

I'd love to know the same thing!

As my clergy clients would say " the Lord works in mysterious ways".

We have two new associates going into orientation and training tomorrow. One of them talked about having taken a class or two in this when she live out in California. We were talking about this not more than 7 hours ago. I had not seriously considered it as part of the offerings however I will take it under advisement. Assuming she passes eight hours of O & T tomorrow I'm going to want to have her focus om "Mastering the basics" of our methodologies before she's allowed to branch off.

If you're serious sign up to our public newsletter ( http://fantasyenterprises.com/cgi-bin/dada/mail.cgi/u/public/ ) and when the time comes I'll announce it or you can just keep an eye out here. Whatever works best for you either way.

LIFE ! Way too funny sometimes ... now if only I could have that kind of luck with Powerball.. but then I'd have to play huh ?

You may find that a truly great Nuru massage that requires some driving time may seriously outweigh the value of a lesser experience that is available closer to home. There are a lot of details involved in Nuru that, unless handled properly, can result in a far less enjoyable experience. Here a just a few examples of things you need to consider. First, is actual seaweed-based Nuru gel being used? There really is no acceptable substitute. Baby oil will not cut it. Unless the environment is carefully controlled, you may find yourself seriously distracted by discomfort. Not everyone has the ability to control all of the factors adequately. A typical hotel room is not likely to be suitable. Another issue is physical safety of both participants. The provider must be physically adept and knowledgeable. Professional massage training is desirable. Now, I don't know how to say this without sounding like a shill, so here goes. There is a provider in Northern Virginia, Jessie Yum Yum, who I think has every detail down pat. On top of that, she delivers a truly fun and unique experience that I enjoy as often as I can.

i had one about 2months...it was an AMAZING experience. i live north of baltimore and drove to tyson's..90 minutes there and 3 hrs getting back d/t traffic. add in the 2 hour price tag and it all means it would be a once a month splurge/splooge at best. even if there was a provider in baltimore, it would still just be a once a month deal for me. but damn...i felt it for 2 days.

Alexandria is where I first experienced Nuru.  Pinky Allure and her girlfriends are the ones that first offered it around DC and have the real seaweed "slippery" gel and technique.  They have a tysons location too.  I drive in from Howard county to alexandria and it takes me about 45 minutes.  Worth the trip!
