One of my ATFs from the west coast will be touring east but will not stop in the DMV area. I was thinking about going to see her but the last time I drove more than 2 hours to see a girl it almost cost me my life. It was a 2 hour drive to Richmond for an intense 2 hour session followed by a 2 hour drive home. When I was about 15 miles from home I started falling asleep at the wheel. Fortunately, I pulled off and took a nap in the parking lot of a shopping center. I made it home but the 4+ hours of drive time was a bit too much for me.
So how much would you drive (at most) to see a provider?
....After pondering this question I came to realize and notice that now when I go on a search/hunt for hobbying opportunities #3 on my checklist is distance to appointment. I work out of two offices; one in Tysons and one in Downtown DC. If the provider is not in the area or a reasonable drive within the area of the office I'm working at that day I will take that provider off the potential contact list. I remember not too long ago (say 5 yrs ago) I would make regular runs to BWI from DC if the price was right and she was sexy enough. Now-a-days I have not been to BWI for an appoinment in at least 2 years. I even hesitate to drive from Tysons to Downtown DC and vice versa for a session and rarely do it. WOW, in days gone by I damn near didn't care where the lady was located. I even made a trip or two to Delaware and Philly when I was able to confirm that the ride would be worth my time a money.
In my even younger days I dated a Civi who lived in Charlotte, NC and I would make regular trips (at least once a week) to Charlotte to tap that ass. And yes it was worth the time and effort....at least at that time. But I was 35 then and I'm 50 now. I've always been a road dog so long drives dont phase me. So am I becoming un-interested in sex?!?! Say it aint so?!?!?!?!
I regularly go an hour out of my way, but that's based on the fact that i kinda live way out of the way in the first place.

45 to one hour max. Fredericksburg and north of Baltimore are really too far.
