I will probably be slammed for using an alias but here goes.....

1. I have been hobbying for about 10 years and am a semi regular reviewer and poster here on TER

2. I only see either well reviewed Independent providers or girls from reputable agencies.

3. I saw an agency girl about 2 weeks ago and had my usual BBBJ and CFS

4. a few days later dick started itching and within another day or two painful urination began

5. Had full round of STD tests, all came back negative

6. Doctor diagnosed as non gonococcal urethritis which is caused by either chlamydia virus ( does not always show up on test ) or other bacteria or other virus transmited during oral sex.

7. started on anti Chlamydia and Gonorrhea antibiotics .

8. After 5 days on meds , symptoms are improving slowly but apparently it often takes a while for pain to go away completely

This has been and continues to be a scary and painful situation . As I researched my symptoms and diagnosis online I found out how common this is. I am AMAZED I have never seen any posts on this board about people catching STD's. Of course I may have just missed them , but I read almost daily.

Anyway, obviously I am taking an extended break from the hobby . I would encourage people to post about this side of the hobby, as well as the good stuff,  so we can all be better informed

sorry for the long post

Correction on misinformation:

1) Chlamydia is not a virus and a simple test tells you if you have it.  The test is 99% effective.  If you have symptoms Physicians typically go ahead and treat while the results are pending.

2) Typical NGU is caused by oral bacteria entering into the urethra and colonizing the urethra - not always, but it is common.  Especially in instances where condoms were utilized for intercourse.

3) You can get Chlamydia/Gonorrhea from oral sex if the mouth/throat of the provider are colonized.

3)  Hence the oral antibiotics you were given as it is better to be safe than sorry.

RE: Correction on misinformation:

I don't understand this one:
2) Typical NGU is caused by oral bacteria entering into the urethra and colonizing the urethra - not always, but it is common.  Especially in instances where condoms were utilized for intercourse.

should that say where condoms are NOT utilized.  Or am I missing something like if you have bare oral and then strap on a hat it somehow makes it worse? ...I'm confused by the statement

can someone explain what that is saying?
Thanks

You didn't get it from unprotected sex.

"Typical NGU is caused by oral bacteria entering into the urethra and colonizing the urethra - not always, but it is common.  Especially in instances where condoms were utilized for intercourse."

When he says "oral bacteria," I believe that means source is the provider of the BJ, and the urethra means your cock.

The "Especially in instances where condoms were utilized for intercourse" is meant to clarify that the condom would likely prevent spread of pathogens during the protected intercourse.

Thanks for sharing the information. Last year I came down with mono and spleen almost ruptured.

Dude,
yes BBBJ is much better than CBJ we all know that, but you should know anything 'bare' increases your risk of catching something.

Most of these ladies are fairly clean, but that doesn't mean the guy they were with right before you move in was clean! .. catching STD is really easy in this lifestyle that is why god created cover :-)

Who was the girl? Some of us would probably want to know

Apparently women are carriers and show no signs of infection.  It is important that providers and their clients get tested on a regular basis.  From what I understand Chlamydia can cause infertility in women, so if you're wanting to have a child get checked!!!!

They always use mouthwash before and after  BJs

The old saying is "Snitches get Stitches" but in this case, hopefully you at least followed up with the gal / agency so that she can get tested / treated.

You're right--this sort of discussion should be happening more frequently.

to me it's obvious. Agency/girl should be posted so the next guy can know. Maybe she knew and maybe she didn't but rest of us should.

For all those howling for the provider/agency name:

Anyone who is unmoderated who posts a name on this thread is likely to be banned for their trouble, if they are not moderated it will never see the light of day.

This is not something that can be proven. Anyone can make an accusation that x provider gave them a dose - and this ruin business for that person/agency. Since nothing can be verified short of the provider posting about herself, it will never be permitted.

There is no proof that you contracted from a provider unless you only had sex with the provider for the longest time.
There is a possibility you got it from someone in your real life you had full service with unprotected.
In any case, I hope it will be history soon!
