You and the lady you are trying to see are both TER VIP members, then you can PM her from your handle to verify you are who you say you are. Otherwise, anyone can claim to be anyone else on TER.

Sorry gentleman, just giving your handle does not qualify as a reference. Ladies you should scutinize the gentleman carefully. Anyone who complains about simply giving a reference obviuosly does not want to see you, is LE or is playing games. And for the newbies, I know it sucks sometimes.
If someone lies and says they are X and then is a horrible client, the real X now has a ruined reputation as well the lady suffer.

TER is a great resource, if used properly and responsibly.

I claim to be the real hungry1951. That other Cali dude is impersonating me again for the drama of TER.  He even sees the same ladies that I do and writes glowing reviews of them. I have had that happen more than once.  Most of us are not asking for info for a Security Clearance but want to feel "safe" with the gentleman we are visiting with.

I've ranted on this subject for a while now.

 The problem is, NO girl that you've seen truly wants to whitelist you. Why would they? That's giving business to others, plain and simple. Yes, it's all good at the time, but I have only had 1 girl whitelist me, even though I've asked about 10 times since I've figured out that "VIP" doesn't mean much.

And yes, you're right. Sending a PM is the way to go. I have been fortunate enough to meet several ladies who have accepted my whitelist referrals, and my board presence as enough screening information.

assume that a lady can always contact one of my WLs.  I consider them as referals but I always ask the lady in my e-mail/PM to please let me know so I can give them a heads up out of courtesy.  

I do miss the opportunity to meet some ladies because of it, but there are enough to keep me going.
