I called a local agency for a visiting lady. They called back and said that both the 1 and 2pm slots were booked (He did't really need to tell me this). I was thinking, "What? no breaks between sessions." I was considering giving up but finally decided to go with 3:30pm; at least she'll get a break.

I hope she's not tired when I get there. :(

A couple of other possibilities.  One is that they scheduled on the half hour taking up a period of BOTH timeframes you requested.  After all, they booked YOU for 3:30 so obviously they DO start some bookings at a time other than on the hour.  Another possibility is that the guy booked two hours (or an hour and half) with time running into each of those timeframes.  Always more to this than meets the eye.  Most of the reviews here are for one hour sessions, but NOT all.  Besides, regulars often tend to book for extended sessions.  Sure it is more money, but most providers set up rates so that extended sessions figure to LESS per hour.  Sure it is a marketing ploy, but after all these gals ARE in business and many have good business savvy.

...they could have had four 30 minute appts scheduled in that time slot.

MB, please don't give BB MORE cause for *concern*~~LOL  I was tryin' to calm him down...

The scheduler did indicate 2 appointments before me.

I just got back from the session. It was pleasant; I left after 50 minutes. When I left I saw some guy in a car parked on the driveway to the entrancethe talking on the cell phone. Could it be. . . :(

Isn't it like seeing a shrink. . . 50-minute hours?

Seems reasonable enough to me, pretty much standard for any personal service (i.e, doctor, lawyer, therapist etc)  I am surprised that providers don't make more of an issue of saying an hour won't be exactly 60 minutes.  Even then, that doesnt allow hardly anytime for a quick piss, a  rinse off in the shower and changing out the sheets.  Course, I am not naive enough to believe every provider is that conscientious.

This is the theme for most agencies that send out their talent on travel. Hey, if the girls aren't up to it, then they don't put themselves on the traveler’s schedule. Or maybe find another agency to work for.

I once new a really hot blonde that worked for an agency on the west coast. Sadly she was way over worked when sent to the east coast. She told someone I know (who had seen her for a long time session) just how many clients she had been booked for while touring - it would make you sick..

Fortunately this friend soon talked this young lady into being an indy and now she is making more $$ and working less often.. Sadly, she has not returned to the east coast, that is the only downside...

If I were you, I wouldn't try to think about it too much, might turn you away from all travelers - well, that wouldn't be so bad for many local providers we have - LOL....

When I first came to DC with an agency, I was booked for at least 12-13 clients a day.  Now, at that time, my first experiences in the biz - I LOVED IT!  Really, I did.  I felt so energetic, I could have done all of DC and still had energy left over.

That was my first 5 day visit... I made tons of cash, couldn't tell you what more than 2 of my clients looked like(only because I saw them each day that visit - still talk to them) and went home with the biggest smile on my face - this was EXCITING!

I came back the next month, and immediately started seeing clients, after the first day, I took the second day off and realized that I didnt want to see clients like the first visit.  I let the agency know that after the 6th client, I would not be available anymore that day, I think I worked no more than 4 hours a day (6 clients in that time!)

In the end, I went indy, I was being drained at that rate of clients, and I knew I would burn out soon if I didnt change it.  So, as an indy, I set my time schedule, I plan for plenty of down time, shower, change, relax, eat, read, and get back into the mood.  Working for an agency is off my list now, I couldnt make it worthwhile for them, as I am not willing to meet with more than 3 clients a day.

Not all agencies are crazy like the one I worked for, and certainly it wasnt like that for everyone who worked there - I was NEW to the biz, young, French, much thinner and still had big boobs! lol!

We can only guess which West Coast lady you are talking about or her D.C friend.

Apparently a whole lot of guys have caught on to what we all ready knew.  Only problem is, local indy providers who were once easy to book now have become very difficult.  Always seems to be some cloud that comes to envelope the silver lining.

Maybe she sees multiple clients in each timeslot -- someone might be booking a group scene.  :)
