95% of my time is spent in Greenbelt with no problems. They locations I use are discreet with multiple entrances and exits. Greenbelt is no more risky than any other area for hobbying. In fact, I choose this area because it's very easy to fade into the background.
There is a thread by Wrsp007 (I think that is how you spell his name), and it mentioned to avoid Montgomery County, and he is usually correct on his assessment about LE activity as it pertains to a particular area.
As for College Park, that place is definitely infiltrated by LE. They even allowed a news crew to follow their sting operation, and you can find those videos online. As for Laurel, they have a consistent history of LE activity, especially on route one. As for Greenbelt, I personally don't know much about that place, but have heard news that its not a good area to hobby in.
