I have on several occasions.

I was at a members club in DC when I encountered an independent. I didn't want to scare her so I asked one of my female associates to approach her. She was a bit surprised I knew who she was however when I introduced myself it all made sense to her.

I like conversing with others in the industry when possible. My only regret is the incorrect assumption many women make when they learn who I am. They always assume I'm trying to recruit them when make no such attempt nor do I steer the conversation that way.  After all the recruiting pages on my website are very clear on that subject, highly unlikely.

Regardless, depending upon the situation just because I recognize or see someone doesn't mean I will always approach especially if they are attached to the hip with someone.

That would be... well impolitic

You are a guy right? That is probably why.

Meeting a lady in the industry, who has been thru what I have been thru and can relate is one thing. Meeting a guy who runs an agency - he may know all the stories, but hasn't really been there. Not that I would assume he was trying to recruit me, but guarding "Vanica" is so important because I do so to better guard/protect my clients.

A lot of ladies in the industry don't trust or even like other ladies. I've run into every type. So we are apprehensive when meeting anyone, but every now and then I meet a girl who gets you, isn't doped up or bat shit crazy, and then we ladies bond.

A guy - maybe if he was a working escort.

But honestly, if I met a woman who ran an agency, I probably wouldn't warm up to her either, no matter how nice she was. Would I be rude? Of course not, but not chummy either.

And FYI, if you have never visited with me before, and recognize me on the street - Unless I am alone, you are looking to book right at the moment, and have your P411 id on you, just don't say anything. LOL I've actually had that happen more than once - it's actually kind of exciting, but also a reminder I need to blur better. LOL
