Impact of government shutdown lingers on.

I have been a lot of calls from providers I have seen before. Many are complaining that non is calling. One lost all of regulars due to partial government shutdown.  I have had to resort to block them because they are calling at 2:00 am, etc. Calling use google duo (calls come through via google even if you block on your cell phone).  One provider told me that she has no appointments during partial government shutdown, she was living off her cash reserves.  I know a few contractors who got stop work orders and have been laid off.

Are you all seeing the same thing ?

I haven't had the issues you're reporting but I have had a few providers tell me things are slow right now. Most attributed it to the tax season and none mentioned the govt shutdown. I've also seen a slight uptick in provider ads offering daytime specials, first-time client specials, etc. I've also seen some providers using more of a dynamic-pricing model (without explicitly using the term "special"), with prices increasing during busy times and decreasing during slow ones. It'll be interesting to see how local market conditions change as we move toward summer.

its all advertising, everything is good...
Im never a high volume anyways so for me is been the same... or better,

...when the shutdown was called off. I was fine throughout.
But....it did affect some provider friends who just happened to be touring during the shutdown.
