I'm putting together my second visit, and I'd ADORE some recommendations on the "Where" of DC. I've been looking up hotels and there's such a wide area to choose from! I found Dupont Circle to be great last time I visited, and I've heard Tyson's Corner is a good location too but a little bird tells me the construction there is making it a bit of a nightmare right now. Should I split my trip between Dupont and another location?

Anyone who could PM/email me any suggestions on hotels that are more provider-friendly than others (and where to avoid), I would be incredibly appreciative. Last time I visited, I found myself stuck with the dreaded keycard-entry situation (thank god for my gentlemen being incredibly accommodating with my James Bond-style backstairs plan!) I definitely don't want to have to worry about that happening a second time, I prefer to focus on the fun at hand

Actually I was looking for information from the gentlemen as to places/areas they found easy to get to and were convenient from them. I've received a lot of PM's that helped me put my trip together, definitely appreciated!!
