I wish mongers wouldn’t use this phrase in reviews posted to a website with international reach. Imagine being an out of towner reading “nice massage with standard nova finish”. Acronyms like DMV and NOVA don’t carry too far outside our region.

And I’m guessing that even among DC mongers, Standard Nova Finish might not be uniformly understood. I take it as a handjob while the provider is topless. Do others understand it as handjob with body slide? Or just a handjob with OTC/UTC boob play?

All I’m asking for is a little more precision when it comes to the details of reviews.

That's their fucking problem, isn't it?

Do New Yorkers change the way they talk just because there are way too many outsiders in NYC.. Do southerners stop saying "y'all" just because they are talking to a guy from Boston?

The reviews written for providers in the DMV area are mainly intended for Mongers in this area...

Why would outsiders read reviews of DMV providers? I don't read reviews in NYC, Philadelphia, Boston, Atlanta, etc. so why would mongers in those areas read reviews here? Mongers in this area except maybe the newbies know what standard nova finish means. They can always ask on this board if they don't know.

We have a standard finish here?! I'm not even sure I have a standard finish -- other than a pop in the cover.

What's the context here. Referring to a HJ happy ending with a topless provider that you're talking AMP/massage girl type settings and not FS.

Correct. The phrase “standard Nova finish” is used in reference to massages with happy endings. Found here most often in reviews of Thai providers and at other site where Korean rub & tug joints are reviewed.

Exactly. Before I moved down here I made a number of trips here and wanted to start experiencing some of the local talent.

It took me a while before I figured out what "DMV" is - to me it was always my state motor vehicle agency.

Point of Parliamentary Procedure

I originally thought "standard NOVA finish" was a reference to Northern Virginia.

However, I saw that phrase on other boards that didn't have anything to do with our area. Then I came to understand it really meant NOV(aginal)A(nal)...or No Vaginal / No Anal.

Anybody else have the same understanding? Or is it just me? I feel like a ruling needs to be made here.
