OK... where to begin!

I was looking to meet someone new on BP the other day and I answered an ad for a lady that had a local phone number but the pics obscured her face (as usual) I liked the pics and made an appointment.

I get to the incall and all is well but when I get to the room the person happens to be the daughter of someone I know... She does not recognize me but I know her and have been to her home on a few seperate occassions. Immediately I am dumb founded and she senses my unease... and offers to let me come in to relax. She was very nice and sweet but I literaly have never been in a state where I just froze!!! Given the circumstances I tried to think of the best excuse I could and told her I would have to cancel...

She did not argue or put up any kind of resistance but I just told her I needed to leave. Now I am stuck with having to see her father on a prety regular basis and it is kind of difficult to look him in the eye!

The question is... do I bite the bullet or bite my tongue??? I've never been in a situation whree my hobby life would cross over into my personal life and I'm a tad freaked out about it!!!!! What if I run into her again at her parents home or what if her father brings her somewhere with us?????

Not sure what to do so any and all suggestions are welcomed!!!!!


I should mention that yes she is young, but is of legal age.

I don't really think he asked if he should sleep with her which is the question you seemed to answer.

At any rate, no you shouldn't tell her father.

Unless she looked like she was in a dangerous situation or under the influence its not really a big deal so don't make it a big deal.  If she's really young she'll probably grow out of it fast like most providers do.  Lifetime escorts are in the minority.

Thats the kind of advise I was looking for!!!! Maybe i'll just talk with her and let her know we should keep things on the DL... would hate to run into her and have her recognize me!!! that would be soooo Awkward!!!!

I appreciate that response as well... I have no intention of making folks on the board aware of who she is and I would not recommend her anyway as I did not partake in the experience!

To remain fair to all parties I will do as you suggest and simply ignor the situation until something forces a response. If she says nothing... I will not either. With any luck the whole situation will just pass over!

Hobby is supposed to be fun. Why do something that is going to make you uncomfortable. Mind is the most important sex organ.  There is plenty of fish in the sea.

The cat is partially out of the bag already, since you saw her and she saw you. If you met up inadvertently at some social occasion, you already have the problem of being recognized. Even if she didn't put it together immediately, she still might.

Bite the bullet for what? You said she is of legal age. She is an adult, who can make her own choices. Would throwing her under the bus by telling her father help her? Would she have retribution against you? What is the purpose in trying to "save" her? Save her from what? Being a consenting adult engaged in this activity, just like you?

If you are going to do anything, leave the father out of it. If you have the urge to do something and not just let the issue lie, then communicate with her. If you must, tell her what happened, why you didn't go through with it, acknowledge her adulthood and free choice, suggest safe practices and point her toward how to be educated about it, then go on your way. If she didn't do anything wrong to you (and it doesn't sound like she did), why would you do an injustice to her?

My other perspective is: if she is adult, hot, and the risk is already there, you shoulda nailed it.

I agree that you should talk to her make sure you don't bring it up when you meet socially.

If she looks flabbergasted the next time you meet then and only then would I say anything to her. She may be mature enough remain silent just like you should do. No harm no foul. Unless she is in danger then you have no responsibility to throw her under the bus.  As for giving out her info if it were me I'd remain silent on that too. That could only escalate things. Some people love to stir up shit.  The last thing, at this point, you need is for some yahoo saying to her how they heard about her.

Your own daughter that would have been real awkward, doubt if any one could get in that situation. Only you know what will set your self atease. Even in the fantasy world of hobbying you still have to play with in the bounaries of reality, and be prepared to deal with any thing that may ocurr. The hobby

i agree with the others ... if you feel awkward or nervous, maybe consider calling her and explaining it to her.  that way if you run into her again (with her father!) and she recognizes you, then you both would be better prepared.  as far as that goes, if she turns you on (did she turn you on when you knew her before?  did you fantasize about nailing her? etc) why not be two consenting adults?  i mean, you're in this hobby, married?, and the worst is pretty much over.  on another note ...

could you please pass on to the rest of us hobbyists a link to her ad so that we might consider trying her out?  would be greatly appreciated by many!

First, I like RenMan's sumation... and I hate to sound like a naysayer, but there is the possibility that she could blackmail you if you contact her.  I think you have a mutual deterent that you could let her family know, but she may not care.  Just putting it out there.

If it were me, and I were going to contact her, I'd be very benign about the connection, especially if she didn't recognize you.

An email telling her the reason you left (simply that you recognized her is all you need to say), along with Ren-Man's other advice might be good, but try not to connect the dots too closely for her.  True, she may yet see you at a function and recognize you, but if you're careful enough here she might not even remember where she recognizes you from.

Also, I'd be clear to tell her that, even though you recognized her from "civie life", she can be sure you won't violate any confidentiality implied when you met.

My interest is really piqued as to who might this girl be. Just to put things in perspective every girl is someone's daughter...

If you're a friend of the family, you might at least caution her (anonymously) that Backpage might not be the safest choice for her line of work, or even email a link to this thread.

What if/when you follow up with the gal, she is comfortable with the idea of helping her to 'raise funds' and encouraging you to contuinue things where you left off?

She might definately be embaressed on how things went down or her reasons or even your reasons, but she could end up thanking you for being descrete about things. She might also might trust you to continue keeping things hush hush and invite you to take a dive too.

I'm NOT thinking of this in terms of blackmail type stuff, but more so in a best case scenerio.

Reminds me of if you happen to stumble into a Strip club and see friends / coworkers / students etc. The initial awkward stage, then the recoil on their part, your part, or the progression to 'lets have fun and run with it'.

I wouldn't share a link either...unless things take a turn for the possitive after there is follow up with her.

If she is in the biz for long she likely won't even recognize you...you are just one of many and walked, so how much of an impression could you have made? But I guess you could always grow a beard, instead (lol).

A very difficult and delicate situation at best but she is an adult and her privacy should be respected. I see nothing wrong with her being an escort if that is her choice and I would keep my mouth shut as long as you did not get the feeling that she is a reluctant participant.

I would e-mail or otherwise contact the lady in question and tell her of the situation and how you would maintain her privacy. This would prevent future awkwardness and tell her that if you meet in a social situation with her parents you would be discreet and keep her privacy. It would put her at ease and make things better if you do encounter her in a social situation again.
