Metro has it's own risks

Keeping the train on the tracks being the first!

Then there's drunk/stoned/sleeping train operators.

Hobos and bums on the trains.

Getting mugged by teenage gangbangers.

And if you're from out of town, good luck figuring what train goes where.

and it was still a several block walk to where I needed to get to in this cold weather.

key cards are not required to use the elevator

there is a metro stop within just a few blocks

there is a parking garage or lot that is convenient, or that self serve parking is available on site

this way you are not erecting (lol) barriers to your visitors...

Your post has me wondering how often you actually ride Metro.

Hobos, bums and teenage gangbanger muggings? Seriously?

I commute on it almost daily, and have found it to be an excellent way to get to many common provider-friendly locations. If you are on TER, you are online, which gives you tools to find your way from the hotel to the nearest station with ease.

You either have to have allot of quarters or use a credit card.  Don't think I want to use a credit card...

True...LOL  But, parking fees are honestly pissed me off tho...Speically, when I dont have quarter on me or when hotel charges $13bucks an hour..

I rather save that money for next game...LOL

But parking down there is a royal pain in the ass.  I would much rather park where the lady is so I don't have to walk a couple of blocks in the rain or the cold.

Nothing like getting to the room and your hands are like ice cubes, yeah she is gonna want those on her sensitive areas......

You'll pay $300 to see a provider but hate the $15 parking?
Thats like not going to Ruth's Chris because of the $2 coat check. lol

I would appreciate my provider or scheduler, knowing where the nearest parking is available. And "no", saying park on the street downtown is not an appropriate answer. When a lady checks in, she can easily ask where is the best closest place to park my car (even if she does not have one). I hate circling the blocks in traffic looking for a convient garage. I don't mind paying for parking. The last date downtown was $20 for parking. At least I got to my appt on time, which is important to me.
