There have not been any movements in the US to legalize prostitution, much in the same way that weed is now is legal in CO and WA. Once the trafficking and pimping aspects of it have been removed, hobbying is pretty much a victimless crime IMO. Associated revenues could also be taxed, thereby giving society a realized benefit. Granted it could take 25-50 years for this cultural shift to happen but I'm surprised that no person or organization has moved to lobby for the removal of these laws under which we all suffer.
