Cancelling appointments by e-mail with less than a few hours notice after several correspondences will require discretion when scheduling again. E-mail does not alway arrive on time and is not sufficient especially if it is last minute. I am not at my computer 24 hours a day and did not receive the cancellation notice until after the appointed time. Subsequent requests for appointments have been handled appropriately.
