This is not exactly what I said.  We're not talking about a woman and her boyfriend... this was in reference to a WIFE.  In a committed marriage, I will keep my man satisfied in every way: emotionally, intellectually and absolutely physically.  So, I believe and stand by my statement... if a HUSBAND steps out on his WIFE, there is a reason.  The reverse is true as well.  I do not think my statement was cold... I believe it to be reality.

I found this on the National Board. A” wife” exposed her husband’s infidelity on the National Boards.
While the authenticity of the post is questionable, it does bring up some interesting issues.

...that any wife who says she takes in the butt and gives great blow jobs daily seems kind of like a fantasy.  She might as well say that she also brings home her model girlfriends to share her husband.  

The lesson here might be the other way around.  If wives were generally like that, there'd be no industry.

Well for those with sig others we all know safety first. The last 2 things we want to bring home are diseases and children. As for the rest of the post I smell BS. Every woman out there swears she does this, that and the third for her man but he is still not satisfied. What a falacy. I know strippers who say they don't give their boyfriends head. Porn star Tera Patrick (my favorite) says she doesn't do anal at home with her husband, Huh? And even mrs. Ravenswood swears her triple D's are always there for me but the last time she gave me russian was last valentine's day. Hell If you ask me providers are the backbone that keep marraiges together. Otherwise we'd spend days and nights at bars, clubs, and Camelot looking for what we don't get at home.

My bs detector alerted as well, and ravenswood I agree, with your statements.  It's not hard to please a man at all.  If a woman breaks her boyfriend/husband off properly, she wont have any problems.  My wife is going to one of those adult parties and she and the other women will brag, boast, oooh and aaah about the items there, buy a little something, get home and the damn thing will get shoved in the closet never to be seen again!  Although, I am in a bit of a slump, hobbying has saved me.  Men seek what they do not get at home...period!  Thank goodness for providers, their services are in the words of ravenswood, the tie that keeps marriages together.  Last week the mrs. promised two bj's a week.....she is in the hole for three already!

well mrs. ravenswood's new years resolution was sex twice a week. Counting dec 31 2005 she is at 2. Just like her diet this resolution is out the window.

I'm not so sure about the authenticity of the post in question, BUT please let me assure you that wives like that do exist.  I was one.  Nothing was off the menu for him because I loved him and loved pleasing him...turned me on!  It didn't start out that way immediately...we grew into it & getting there was a lot of fun.  It is out there and when a man 'steps out' of the marriage, a wife should look closely in the mirror.  JMO.

. . . there is a reason, but not all reasons are good reasons. In a committed marriage, shouldn't he satisfy his wife as well. If it can't be done, perhaps he should end it.

I just don't think putting a burden on one and not the other is fair.

A committed marriage should indeed be mutual.  I agree with you that one spouse should not have more of a burden than the other.  I was speaking from a wife's perspective...mostly related to the post in question.  As a committed wife, I would (and have) enjoyed keeping my man happy in every way and it was no way a burden... hell, I loved it.  The benefit was I was also very, very satisfied!  :-)
