It was a good recount of his experience and tastefully written.

Are you just saying that it is long?

I saw her a while ago and came across this crazy-ass review that caught my attention.  I almost wasn't sure if it was a classic/contemporary book report or if he fell in love with her and was writing a love diary, but I'll have to hand it to him that he has some great writing skills.

If he had left out some of that verbose & long winding Walter Benjamin aura related stuff in the beginning, I'd have called it a tasteful and artistic review.

The paragraphs are too long.

Still, it's his opinion and he's entitled to it.  It relects poorly on him, not her, in my view.  It's almost as though he's more enraptured with his own writing than he is with  her.  Nevertheless, she must be someone special, to inspire that level of semi-literate self-indulgence.  I suggest he go back to D. H. Lawrence and take erotic writing 101.  As for the lady, more power to her.

She sounds pretty awesome, yet insanely expensive. He desperately needs an editor.

Was contemplating if I should write a review but prolly not going to since she already has many and I don't like spending 2 hrs writing reviews. Besides, I lack the artistic ability to quote guys like Walter Benjamin. Oddly though, I got much better service compared to what's written in many of her already stellar reviews.  I give my handsome & charming self 100% of the credit for that,
...or maybe not. ;)

from somewhere else and added his own comments. His knowledge of basic English is seriously lacking.

there are dozens of grammatical errors in the writing.  Regardles of how one might feel about the pomposity & verbosity, if this were handed in in an English Composition class I was teaching, he'd get an 'F' for numerous grammatical errors and carelessness.  Thid is certainly NOT skilled writing!

while i have to admit that there is a slim possibility of spelling and grammatical errors through haste (i'm guilty of that) i'd have to say that it reads more like the errors are due more to pretensiousness that is beyond his reach. paragraphs would help.

so here is another vote of disapproval from one who likes writing and reading long reviews.

You can't expect people to write with zero variance and not deviate from what's considered perfect grammar.

I thought you'd be the one to say that first. lol

whatever that means), but in his first (overly long) paragraph there were 10 blatant errors, mostly disagreement in number between subjects & predicates ('these woman') or missing articles.  I got tired trying to proof the 2nd (very overly long) paragraph and lost count.  Not even reasonably close to 'zero variance.'

i'm just saying i didn't like it. after all you can't expect there to be zero variance in reactions to a post either. ;-)

The reader is exausted struggling through unnecessary rambling.  I agree with Vam -- an "F" paper.

The review is clearly a shill review, written by someone with a heavy Russian accent who has the grammer of an immigrant. Posted prior to any other review by the reviewer, and in a style not repeated in any of his other reviews. my hunch, written by the provider and posted by the hobbyist...it has no credibility..

I highly doubt it's a shill review.  It would be a different story if he wrote that as the 10th or 18th reviewer, since you need 20 reviews to make it to the Top 100 list.  However, she has 62 reviews and his crazy review is on the 6th page. She doesn't need to get desperate for another review at that point in the game.

Plus, having met the girl and talked to her for many hours, the reviewer doesn't sound like her writing. Her English is fluent and she does not write with such run-on sentences.  Also, her level of performance is on par with  her reviews: At least the juicy details portion is not inflating anything, while the references to Walter Benjamin's aura might be a little out there.

Sounds to me like the dude either wanted to show off his history knowledge, attempt to write a tasteful review, or fell in love with his ATF.
