I recently peeked at a provider's website and had a head scratching moment when I saw her rates, which are as follows:
*$300/half-hour;
*$400/hour;
*700/hour and a half - her stated favorite (huh?);
*1300/two hours (double huh?); and
*1600/three hours.
Ladies set their rates based on what they like, it may not always make sense or be linear.
It’s possible she has a preference for certain time slots based on her schedule.
You are right, the $100 difference between the 30 mins and 60 mins is a penalty.
Anything beyond 90 mins she clearly does not care for. So she favors the 60 and 90 minutes sessions - the 90 minute is the deepest discount.
You’re a smart cookie and figured it out. You didn’t even need us! Now is the real decision: do you want to see her or not?
Sorry, her 60min is best savings overall. Everything else is at an additional cost over that. If you want to se her schedule 1hr increment.
Depends on how you look at it.
Whether you consider her base rate $300 per 30 mins or $400 per 60 mins.
If you consider the former, the 90 mins is the best as you get a discount of $200 for an additional 60 mins
If you consider the latter, the 90 mins is not as good because you pay an extra $300 for just an additional 30 mins
All about perspective!
Reminds me of the math problem that gets everyone all riled up every so often -
6 ÷ 2(1+2) = ?
I say, 9.

Or, you realize that the problem is written in poor form for illustrative purposes.
Thanks, though.
Is to never try to make sense of the math. You must either accept the rates and book, or you don't and move along.
... a math error on her part. You might call to check if you care.
If she is reputable she will have no problem getting what she asks. I highly suggest NOT asking her if there has been an error in her stated rates.
You may see whoever you wish to see. If you don't like someone's rates, you may look elsewhere. The beauty of hobbying.
I’ve always understood. But tell me. If I were to schedule by the hour would you accept? Ok theoretically, 4pm 1hr, then 5:15 1hr. I would not only save $ but have time to recover, is that a problem?
I step out have a smoke maybe a drink come back and continue. Having a known client close booking should be a plus for you no?
The only thing I think of is more than an hour requires recovery time, I understand that.
So while I agree everyone has the right to charge as they feel, the math still doesn’t work for me so please forgive me.
With some you may save money with some not. If you wanted to see me for an hour , leave to go do your hair, and then come back for another hour I would accept. I personally don't care how anyone chooses to book with me. They will get the same amazing "customer service skills ) each time.
You make a great point, but given the big jump from 90 to 2 hours, is it possible a typo? That said, it’s interesting how people seem to get so hung up on it. I’m guessing MOST first time visits are one hour or 90 minutes, so the price structure offered here is perfect for that. Now, if a guy really wanted to pursue the seemingly prohibitive 2 hour rate, would it be ok to inquire “I’m thinking about either 90 minutes or two hours, could you please confirm your rates,?
one would assume a lower hourly rate if an extended date is booked. The likelyhood of the hobbyists performing for multiple hours non-stop is very low. Extended dates normally come with some social activities, lunch or dinner. One would assume this would be the providers preferred date versus seeing multiple clients in a day for half hour or hour sessions. As I said earlier, I’m not a provider, but this approach on the surface doesn’t make sense. Personally I would stay away from such a provider. There are a bevy of wonderful providers in this area to choose from.
It does make sense, if you want to encourage shorter bookings. There is no reason to outright dismiss her because she prefers the 60-90 minute date over longer ones. It doesn’t mean she’s not as wonderful as anyone else.
There are ladies who do not like extended dates... which is possibly the case here.
She may want more shorter dates to maximize profits and reduce the amount of emotional labor invested.
We are not all the same. That is why our rates are all different. Some ladies offer very deep discounts for long dates, some ladies are very linear because they don’t care, some ladies (like this one) have better rates for shorter sessions vs longer sessions.
If it’s not in line with what you like, that’s fine. But I think discouraging the client from seeing her on the basis of her rates not making sense to you is really overreaching.

But I guess like most people she can be down for something she doesn't like for the right price hence the over 90mins offerings.
It’s not that they don’t like, but seriously some like to play you and charge more. If you don’t like the math fuck it, or not.
Complaining about rates is useless. Especially if you really want to see them but the math sucks. Not her problem but urs.
Like my example, I’ll book 1hr take a break book next hour when the 2hr rate is higher LoL.
But why bother if you already have issues with the math???? Move the fuck on find someone you don’t have issues with, it’s suppose to be entertaining not an argument or negotiation.
Wow! You’re so thoughtful and answered your own questions, though I suspect they could’ve been rhetorical. Hope it feels good to know I’m just commenting to reassure you (and provide insight)
You’re exactly right. It’s marketing.
It’s possible she’s trolling and being a smart ass because even when we, providers, intentionally don’t mention something we still get dumb ass inquiries. Applicable here: “what’s you rate for x mins?”
In this case, maybe she did initially only note a 30, 60, and/or 90 minute rate because she didn’t want to offer anything else... and in humor decided she would post rates beyond that for shits and giggles for folks who kept asking.
I’ve thought about doing the same sort of thing but opted against it as I know some people have no common sense or humor, so they would be offended/confused if I posted that my rate for 30 mins is $450. I don’t LIKE 30 min sessions but I would definitely take one at that price point.
There are plenty of ladies who offer services they don’t particularly enjoy because they would like to make money. If they’re any good at it, you’ll never know and both parties walk away satisfied. The provider gets her money for a concession she is *comfortable* making, the client gets the experience he wants and believes she had a great time.
If you have an issue with her rates, don’t see her.
She good math
happy short time 30 too 60 minute EZPZ
most hard job act happy long time 2 hour more no ez
most cost happy long time
faker smile pain face mussel
actor make 2 hour fame movie triple pay more then 1 hour no fame movie

I've always viewed a providers rate structure as an indication of her preferences, e.g., if hourly rate decreases for longer times she more likely prefers longer (and possibly fewer) engagements. Here, however, I'm a little confused I see based on the half-hour baseline the hour and 90 minute are "discounted" but I assume the half-hour engagement is an exception as it is at a penalty compared to the hourly. But the two hour deal is completely out of line. I must be missing something.
...why this matters? Find someone you want to see and then pay her rates as posted. If you don't think she's worth it or you don't like her rates, then find someone else.
