ID check

are ID checks by providers the norm now? I have never been asked for one until now.  I tried to see one on Friday, she asked for ID at the room, I didn't have one and she asked me to leave.  Her screener did not inform me of the requirement when I set up the appointment (but claimed that she did inform me afterwards)
Lousy experience, drove thru DC rush hour traffic twice.

.....I've been asked on several occassions for ID and provided.  Only one time did I not have my ID and simply went back to the car to get it (DL).  In this case she confided that I look like a cop..huh?  How do you look like a cop?  She said due to my height and clean cut appearance.......oooooK, whatever.  Despite this we proceeded to have one of the better sessions I've had in the hobby.

And yes, of times I was carded, I was informed that carding would be done in about 60% of the time.  Of the total sessions I'v had over my hobby career, I've been carded approximately 5% of the time.

I've had a few experiences where I had to show my ID to a few providers from an agency. I guess its a way for them to validate who I say I was. Their website didn't state this, however, from reading the reviews, I was expecting it as their protocol.

I've never had any indies check for my ID, probably they are reassured by my references. I've never had to show my ID to any indy providers.

The screener isn't obligated to inform you that they will check you ID. Was this an agency? Sometimes I PM the reviewers when I am unsure of how they screen. Best!

Merely anteing up to the pot......

It is Dreams Policy for all associates to ID any client whom they have never seen before. We do this as due diligence to dissuade individuals from allowing their "buddies" to use their Fantasys Client code.

This information is provided to you once FantasysClientScreening.com approves and sends your client code letter which has our unlisted phone number.

The above scenario we know for a fact has happened to other women using DateC because they didn't check to make sure it was actually him. It didn't end well because he knew she didn't have a clear and real line of accountability when he misbehaved.

What other people choose to do is of course their business.

Sincerely,

Lee Dreams

of course I understand the safety reasons - my problem is with not knowing.  My ID was in my car parked in an off-site valet and a real hassle to get to.  By the time I was trying to figure out what to do the girl was getting worked up so I never really had a chance to fix the problem.  She must have had a prior bad experience . . . But I had one that day.

a lesson learned I guess.

You're point was noted, just not address in my reply.

The fact she was hyper-vigilant (let's put it that way) makes me question why such a lack of confidence in her screening process. Perhaps and this is merely complete speculation on my part, she knows it's fundamentally flawed?

Regardless, assuming your version of reality is correct, there was failure to inform and I regard that is a mistake. If it is habitual, then it is a lack of professionalism.

As for your membership in the BBB (Blue Balls Brigade), I have a Platinum membership in that club. Why don't you come over to the roped off VIP section and I'll buy you a drink.

Sincerely,

Lee Dreams

I would hope to never be asked for an ID given I will only see indy's that are TER and DateCheck members.  I would hope that would suffice.  Otherwise, those that do present an ID...is it real or fake...since we are all hiding behind our online names?

That's right, she wants your real name. So you better behave.

I'm not understanding the logic. Are they memorizing your info or writing it down? If I'm John Q Law and I show my ID - now what? Or is it forbidden for LE to show IDs?

It's for her saftety. LE is actually lesser of a provider's worries.

a client has been screened by the name given, then the ID needs to match that name. If it's another name, than it wasn't the name that passed the screening.
