or on another's post to draw people to it because you want other's input on the topic?  ya know, a little number fudging by click, back, click several times and then refreshing to see the results compared to other post?  

Or is this act unspoken like stripper slides and buying Instagram followers?

But I also like stuff for random reasons. Like if I see an ad or a picture on the photo board, even if I have no interest in seeing the lady, but she has no likes I'll hit 'like'
 
lol yeah, that's a given....most of us have done so. But That reads boost...touchy area imo :-)

I don't pay attention to the "like". Actually, this thread reminded me that there's one.

It would be more meaningful if there's a complementary "dislike" button.
