If the pics are still an accurate depiction of what the lady looks like there is no need to get new pics just for the sake of new pics. Now, if the looks have changed e.g different color hair or hair style, new pics are in order as clients are expecting to be met by the woman in the pictures. The theory of new pics for the sake of new pics hoping to improve marketing efforts is a judgement call I think. I know women who absolutely want to have new pics every chance they get. My view is if the current ones are not so hot in your view, absolutely get new ones but if they work and youre not bored with them no need to pay for new ones. They would be nice but not necessary. However, timely new additions..say every year or so.. to a portfolio are nice for sure just to confirm the woman in the pics is still the hottie she was a year ago. Hope this is helpful coming from a male for as you know we are controled by what we see pretty much..lol

How often should a provider update their ad pictures? 3 months? 6 months? Every year? Or does it matter if the reviews are OK?
I like to change mine every couple of months just to keep things fresh. Pictures are the one way we advertise who we are and I think it's important to keep them current. That said at least every 6 months would be reasonable in my eyes.
..... you wanna do more great but I don't see why once a yr shouldn't do it. Anything more than twice a yr seems excessive if we're talking pro shoots. DIY pics (your own camera/webcam) go nuts. imo.
Hmmmm and speaking of...i need new ones by the fall.
As a photographer in the DC metro area, I am always curious about what potential clients think about the talent pool of shooters around here. I hear some terrible stories from time to time about photogs who try to take advantage of providers or overcharge for shoddy work. Clearly that can't be the norm (at least I hope not). When I was living in Florida I saw a good bit of that, but it tended to work itself out by word of mouth from the ladies who experienced bad treatment. Having worked with providers in Florida I've considered throwing my hat in the ring here in DC for providing the same services. Just curious what everyone's experience has been...Thanks!
