...OK, the prostate cancer thread below got me to thinking.  Who would I need to have as my SO to not have a desire or need to hobby?

Of course your answer would need to be based primarily on the physical as reality (the mortgage, the kids, drama, I left my sox on the floor, I left the toilet seat up, etc, etc, etc) will always fuck the fantasy up.

I'm sure there are plenty of cases of true love at first sight that doesn't flicker or falter until the soulmates are shuffled loose from this mortal coil. But for the rest of us, the intensity dies down and the passion levels out.

The hobby isn't about love. For me it's about brief physical encounters that capture those early days in a relationship where you're first experiencing someone's body. Take any combination of perfect attributes and personality traits, likes and dislikes, resemblance to celebrities, willingness to experiment and get kinky... after awhile I'll be scoping around for something new and different.

Then again, I'd probably hobby less if my SO would lose 100lbs and give the occasional BJ.
