One thing that providers should do is to get a set of regular repeat customers. If you raise prices or have yoyo pricing on your website customers are likely to stray to another provider. There are providers who don't have reviews with published prices. They don't want the backlash from other providers about having below market rate prices. There are others who keep to price and stick with it.
My recommendation is to stick to a price an keep it. Remember everyday there are new high quality providers coming into are dc/metro market. Also there are many UTR (under the radar) providers who have very good prices.
Kamul, many providers WILL grandfather their rates for existing customers. Within reason, an existing customer will usually be able to KEEP their original rate (as long as they have maintained themselves as a steady customer). Hence, rate increases generally apply to NEW customers or those who have taken an extended hiatus.

Do you seriously think that anyone is going to read this post as an altruistic attempt to help the local ladies maintain a steady customer base? The wording is only slightly different, the underlying complaint is the same, you're whining about prices.
YoYo means the prices goes up and it goes down. There is an implication that the provider does not have the confidence or quality to keep her price at the higher price. People will might think that she is low quality with price reductions. A seasoned hobbyist will observe and try and find out why. He will repeat to look for consistency in service. Many times you find that quality has nothing to do with price. Some people get a little greedy and don't realize the damage they do to themselves.
You can find them on the other major board. Many have had their profiles removed from this board. Others will post once in a while on this board or they don't post at all, they are not high profile and they have reasonable prices.
