I haven't finished yet, but some things don't ring true. Don't get me wrong, I like the writer and it's a good read, but just curious to hear any views, especially from the ladies. The way she gets into the hobby seems fairly credible, but the way she runs the business .. hard to swallow.
Of course there could be some of you who knew the real people involved ...

Especially because Laura Lippman is a respected writer with some reportedly good books under her belt.  This is formulaic, tedious, and I had to put it down.  Much better is "Discretion," by Allison Leotta, who used to be an assistant AG in the District and knows her city.
