This did not happen to me, but my friend Addison, while we were in Tyson's Corner yesterday. I don't have access to the provider only board, so I can't post it there. PM me for more information.

He has a fake name, and a fake linked in, which I can't seem to find now. I have alerted the girls he's using as a reference.    
   
He came in, smelled her once he got a little lower, and told her "you smell, you need to get in the shower". While she was in the shower, he went into her drawer, and took almost $4,000 from her purse. When she came out, he still had the nerve to finish his business, take the condom with him, and leave $300 on the dresser before rushing out the door. To me, this indicates that not only has he done this a lot, but he's probably been caught before...  
   
I saw him in May, and noticed the same thing. The sniffing, the little insults, the hurried way he did everything... The difference is, I don't leave anyone alone for more than a few seconds. I definitely noticed that he stood near the dresser when I got a wash cloth, but just attributed it to him being a weirdo trying to sniff panties or stretching his legs or something, as he SEEMS perfectly nice and innocent at the time, just odd. When I asked what he was doing, he brushed it off as grabbing some wine. This is probably his MO, so if he gives a different name, please be aware of a client who fits this description and behaves this way.  
   
Please be careful, and if anyone has more information on him, please let me know. He's probably done this before and will probably do it again. I know she probably won't get the money back, but I would personally love to find him.

...again (copying and pasting my response) ... this is awful this happened to her but I don't understand just having thousands and thousands just sitting around in your room (especially for that reason). Put it in a bank account if you can, different diversion safes, the safe in the room etc. That is a lot of money. Ladies please don't make it easy for thieves like him.  I feel so bad for her.....I sure hope he doesn't change any of this info. Even if she doesn't get her money back I hope karma gets him back BAD (and soon)!

That is the prime example of why you NEVER keep your money in a drawer. Always, always use the safe. And if there isn't an in room safe, either go to the bank and deposit or think of somewhere better to place your money than the drawer.  

Also - if a gentleman came to visit me, and that's the first thing he did - you better believe he would be asked to leave. Immediately.  I take great care of myself, and I will not spend an hour with someone who provides an insult as the first (or second, or third) thing they say to me.  

Ladies should not be scared to ask people to leave.  He's paying for YOUR time, and you are NOT obligated to spend it with him, just because he's there. No amount of money is worth being treated like a piece of garbage.

Very sorry that this happened to your friend. Thankfully it was just her money, and she wasn't hurt. Weirdos are everywhere. I certainly hope that she did everything that she could to blacklist him.

What goes around comes around!  And from the sounds of it - this guy a certain date with Karma. And she's going to kick his ass.

And we were literally running to the bank and taking her to the airport after she left. She's fairly new, so I think that he saw an inexperienced Indy and took advantage of the situation.
