4 or 5 years ago I mentioned to a legit provider, who was advertising on eros (as everyone was), the plethora of fake ads there. She was dismayed--said eros had her jumping through a million verification hoops.
So the legit provider was following the rules. And the fakes weren't.
You'd have to see what is going on on the other side of those hoops to really know. And we never will.
According to the ladies I know who post ads on Eros, they demand a lot of verification, including the matching of a picture id with the pictures to be posted on the site. Either they are lax in the DC area or the guy reviewing the pics needs glasses. Just too many with stolen pics that stay posted. It's not even worth looking at their ads anymore unless it is visiting ladies-even then there are an increasing number with pics of foreign supermodels or Russians. I recently had a Geneva agency try to bait and switch, but at least they didn't try it with her at the doorstep.
