Washington DC

It makes absolutely ZERO sense. Sounds very bizarre

So 2 weeks ago I call and make an appt to see a provider that was visiting the DC area and has been here for a while now -- she has 2 pages of solid reviews on TER (most recent one though more than 6 months old however).

So she picks up the phone, I get told the exit to get off at and then to call her when I get there.  No problem.  I get there, call her, no answer.  Pull over on shoulder, call twice more in the next 20mins, no answer.  I text asking her to at least let me know if she's going to cancel so I know to not wait around.  She immediately calls after receiving this text and tells me something came up and how about we do it tomorrow and I give her a call at like 6 or something.

I didn't call as it didn't feel like we had officially made any appt and it was just me attempting to call back and try to set something up.  So fast forward to today I see her ad again so I call back up from my phone # but no answer.  I decide to call back 10mins later out of curiosity using my brothers cell and she answers the phone immediately and politely/efficiently sets up an appt with the same instructions as 2 weeks ago -- to call once getting to exit.  I get there, same response, no answer, no call.  I call twice within 30mins and get no ansewr.

So at this point I'm just completely perplexed at who sets up appts to just cancel randomly so I call a friend of mine and ask him to see if he can call and get an answer and if he does to set up an appt.  He calls her like a few mins after she had been not answering my 3 calls that I had made in the past 30mins and gets a swift answer and her efficiently setting up an appt and he is told to call in 15mins to get rest of directions.  In 15mins he calls back and no answer either.  He calls back twice within a 20-30min time period to get no answer at all either.

Is this some kind of prank?  Can someone tell me what possible logic explains how this makes sense?

Are u serious???That's F'd up man...Who can it be??do u have ligit background(No blacklist or good references)??If so, something wrong with her and it's totally messed up..

I had 2 cancellations with providers..But, they both called me least before I head down to their place and explained to me least 10mins about canceling with good manners...I obviously understood them and rescheduled for next day...

Sry to hear bro....:(

First, how bout posting without an alias.  Your not going to get much response if any under an alias.

Second, name the provider so we all know who your talking about.

Name the provider and don't hide behind an alias.

If its true - that is what the board is about, keeping people away from time wasters and trouble.

have some basis to determine her bizzare conduct.

Either RaisyDaisy is experienced at making up a story/scenario that sounds plausible or it is a provider who is not doing any screening.

The only other explanation is that he did something to spook her the first time.  The second time, she most likely recognized it was him and went along with it to teach him a lesson.  Who knows.

Unless he can post this without using an alias and let us know who this lady is, I don't believe it.

So, to answer his question, "Is this some kind of prank?"  Yes.  Sounds like it to me!  LOL

Obviously the provider is screwed up in the head ... or yeah, it's a prank. Sorry you had so much of our time wasted.
