The "she's a whore defense" has enabled men to use women as property for centuries. Even the catholic church used brothels during the Middle ages to fund its activities.  Allowing a woman the freedom to have control over her own body will stop many religious men and politicians from raping women.

I have met more bikers who kept their hands off a woman wearing a short skirt than a religious guy who wanted to say "I tempted him"

A male and female can meet in a bar, never having met prior, go home, have sex, never see each other again, and that is legal. Yet, a man cannot pay that same female for the same service, albeit better at times. Just is really kind of strange isn't it. That the act of recognition of something done very well is considered illegal? What is it about that act of providing a monetary reward for something cause an act to become illegal? I mean shouldn't having sex out of wedlock be considered just as illegal? Not that I'm condoning or arguing for that mind you. Just interesting.

Your comment is very profound, IMO.  It points to only one of the many outrageous hypocrises involving the hobby, relationships, marriage, and human behavior.

The women on this show are married to multi millionaires and some of them admit they are in a loveless marriage and it's more like a business arrangement...admittedly, they stay for the lifestyle and money
What is that if it isnt prostitution?????

POLL:
Would you rather
A. Spend you tax dollars making sure your spouse isnt cheating with a prostitute
OR
B. Spend you tax dollars making sure your or some one else child is not molested?

Thats a toughie, huh!?

Think of all the unpaid taxes that go by the wayside for an agency girl visiting from New Mexico, here for a week, making $300/hour(200 after house cut), meeting with 7-8 clients a day.

6 days of that averages to be 50 guys a week. Thats about $10,000 of tax free income that she goes home with.

Schools, police, ambulance, roads, public works, mayor, etc all count on tax payer money.

I personally think this is driven by agencies not payin

Having sex in front of camera and putting it on Internet or a disc and selling the same is legit. Which part of that isn't prostitution???? Now you are not only selling sex, but putting it on the web for the whole world to see. To top it, most of this porn stars practice unsafe sex to begin with...

are getting paid for their performance; screw a guy for $XXX & we'll film it & sell it.  So does the fact that the purpose is to make a film versus just make a guy happy change it from sex for money to something else?  I once had a great session with a well-known porn star; if LE had knowledge & cared enough they could have busted us for prostitution/solicitation/whatever.  Had there been a cameraman & producer present would that have changed it?  Apparently, wherever they film all these porn flicks the LE is OK with it, because clearly these ladies are being paid to have sex.  Strange world we live in!

Having sex on camera is legal in a few counties in CA.  As for unsafe, ALL of the performers must be tested monthly, no test, no work!  The guys you see performing covered probably do not have their test results back.  Prostitution is legit in most counties in NV except for Reno and Las Vegas.  It is also legal in Rohde Island.  No state laws prohibiting it!  What bothers me is prostitution is fine in Canada, Mexico and almost everywhere else on the planet.  But, Not here...

I believe the letter of the law says the act of exchanging money for sex is whats illegal. If you have sex in front of the camera for free and then sell the video, then that's just pornography. The funny thing about the law is that they like to enforce different ways depending on how bad they want to win. Some times they enforce the letter of the law and sometimes the enforce the spirit of the law. For example; you cant have sex with a stripper in a strip club because I think direct contact to the genitals are illegal both ways in the establishment. ( not 100% sure on that) But if you were to take a stripper somewhere else and pay for a lapdance and get it, then have sex after the lapdance, By letter of the law your fine because you paid for the lapdance and got it and the sex was something else that was done for free. But if the LE wants it that bad, they will enforce the spirit of the law and probably get you.

To bad providers can't 'video' appointments... then this may not even be an issue.

My biggest grip is mixing "human trafficking" with ALL hobby activities.  Don't get me wrong, if someone is forced to do something that is wrong, but if a grown woman makes a decision on her own, how is that still trafficking?

Yes.

1) Man pays for an elaborate ceremony to consummate the deal in anticipation of wonderful sex on the honeymoon.

2) After years of marriage more elaborate gifts are required to get said wife to perform her "wifely duties".

3) After too many years together and the gifts no longer working the man must go through another elaborate ceremony to get her to leave and having to pay the remainder of the balance for services rendered during the marriage.

The only way that I see that this does differ from prostitution is the man is stuck with the same woman for years and has to pay a much larger amount to get her to leave.
