Not sure that I understand.

...why you and some others feel compelled to offer that type of response for every ISO-type post. I' not trying to be critical, just understand. For example, my sense is that the OP in this case is hoping that a provider might read his post and respond if she is interested. Whether he has used the search function is immaterial, and a response such as yours is meaningless. On the other hand, if a guy posts saying he wants a young blonde with big tits and asks us for recommendations, then I think that we should just ignore him, but you might want to indicate that he should use the search function. Since there is no special prize for top poster of the month, I fail to understand why some feel compelled to make such meaningless posts. Perhaps you could enlighten me. I really do enjoy some of your more insightful posts.

Don't you know NATS are giving special box tickets, along with meet and greet with my hero Ryan Zimmerman for top 5 DC posters....

Why do I really respond like that...

I get a kick out of observing how people want everything handed to them on platter. I love giving back to the TER community and have helped lot of guys publicly and privately on Newbie board, GD board, RO Board (shhhhhhh) etc. But I believe that the request should warrant help.. What is so wrong in asking people to do some homework..You know, when I was in college, I used to love working with the guys in the ex-military. I found them incredibly disciplined, had great work ethic, and never expected something for nothing..

Its funny how people pounce on me and Yoko, when both of us have helped guys in the past.

OK.. I will be more creative in my future responses...

Now, let me go work on my Jayson Werth look....

I'd never do an ISO post, but I've gone on the DC board, and received some "can't miss" prospects...I never even check the ISO boards, as I believe that regional boards are the best "go to"...I'm a seasoned hobbyist at this point (4 yrs), so I have something to offer, just not on random boards

I've posted an ISO before, and the responses were helpful (especially foreroticreview---where'd that guy go?!?)
Anyway, I see the value in firsthand recommendations, especially to those not familiar with the board...Curly is cool as a plat bear's toenails, but grumpy beyond his years lol

As Curly said, we have both helped out numerous gents over time and still have no problem doing so.

However ... when someone comes along and does an ISO post the way some recently have, with them having a board history, having some reviews (albeit years old) and/or them saying they have DC and/or P411 "OK's", it indicates to me just what Curly was talking about ... they simply don't want to do their homework. Period. They want others to do it for them. They know how to search but simply don't want to do it.

The laziness of some people amazes me. I actually had a gent PM me and ask me why I was being so critical. When I responded to him and explained this, he saw my point exactly and then even agreed with me.

People who post open ISO's the way some have lately, when they KNOW how to search for what they want, just irritates me and probably Curly as well. If they were to have done a search and entered in their requirements and still got nothing, I would then have more sympathy for them. Just for kicks, I entered in the OP's requirements and after a few mouse clicks, found several ladies meeting the criteria set forth.

Just realize it takes literally seconds to actually look someone or something up on these boards if you know what you're looking for so the excuse of "I didn't have time" is not valid. In the time it takes to post an "ISO", you can easily have time to do at least 1/2 dozen searches.

If I can take 60 seconds to find all the choices I did, why can't they?

And may I add....

You can now save searches. So if you know you like someone between 18-35, White, DFK, BBBJ, CFS, with Natural Boobs, just make the search once and SAVE it. Next time you need to see who is new gal on the block, just click on the SAVED search.. You can also have multiple saved searches.

Plus, TER has also allowed us to add providers in Favorites list. That, with the right settings checked in the Account Manager, sends us email update when the provider gets new review..

For some of us who have been here for over 10 yrs, this is a welcome change. Back in the old dark days of 2003-2004, we didn't have all those bells and whistles, but we were really appreciative of what we had....REVIEWS..

iso's can be helpful...

to gauge interest in the providers for specific scenarios.

in this case, there are two:

outcall to Dulles area
Sunday evening

so rather than do the research and send a dozen emails fishing in the dark, ISO's create attention and then use the intel of the reviews based upon the responses.
