Hate when I see these things and there's no info regarding what kind of person they are looking to see. I wish all ISOs were like this! Good luck.

Norah

Especially when the requirements could be searched..

Just sayin'

Don't be so quick to judge the OP for using the resources available to him. There are many benefits to ISO posts.
It's been my experience that searching will get you a list that may or may not produce the desired results. There is nothing worse that sitting around in a strange city wondering why no one responded to your calls and emails.
An ISO post improves your odds of getting a connection with someone who's looking from the other direction and a much better chance of getting together. Some of my best times came from ISO posts and on more than one occasion the person I met was not in the search results.
I'm not saying you should abandon searching but you improve your chances of spending the night with someone other than Rosey Palm by using multiple avenues.
Another benefit of ISO posts is all of the hobbyist I've met and shared notes with. There are allot of good folks out there willing to share info if you reach out. I'm still in touch with many of them and I try to help them out when I know they're coming to town and they do the same for me. It can be very helpful to have a local hobbyist to vouch for you when your traveling

In fact after short listing 3-4 providers that I intend to spend time with, I always back-channel with the boys to see if there is anything they can add to the reviews. Sometimes the reviews are old, and lot could have changed between then and now...

But when you do initial research, it does show some effort on the hobbyists' part. When no research is done, the whole thing just screams of entitlement. The former commends respect; the latter doesn't - at least in my book doesn't.

Again, I am OK with putting ISO posts when the request is unusual. For something really vanilla..NOT SO MUCH...

Seems a bit judgmental to me. You don't know if he did any research or not. If you don't want to respond just don't read the posts. It's not like the OP used a subject line that caused anyone to open his post that didn't want too.

made by someone on this very board....

Yeah..Try finding this with SEARCH criteria....

I think one of the point of ISO posts is to get ladies to respond. You can search, but if you post here, ladies who meet the criteria will contact you. Meaning your more likely to find someone who is willing to meet you. Plus, this guy may have searched, and wants to augment his search with comments from the community.

If you think it's a sign of someone who hasn't done his homework, just keep scrolling.  Electrons are cheap, after all.  Nobody *has* to read all the posts, after all.

While we've got a very good set of reviews in this market, it's hardly comprehensive.  There may be new ladies, or lower-profile ones, or people who just haven't gotten a lot of reviews.  With criteria as wide as those set by the original poster, there are a dizzying number of entries, and he might have limited time to do research.  It's also very useful to have ladies see such a post and respond; I have had good luck in the past when traveling and putting up similar posts in other places
