I'm curious... different kind of question, for most...

I love blogs that reveal the personality of the lady, that are candid and honest, or that entertain with sexy stories.  I find the women that blog are more attractive to me because their thoughts and experiences lay the foundation for a better connection, and elevate the experience when we meet face to face.   So blogs are a major factor for me when deciding which lady I would like to get to know better.  Almost all of my regulars or favorites have blogs ( or post regularly) but there is no similarity to them - they simply mirror her personality, especially her sense of humor.  Some of my best erotic ideas and inspirations have come from blogs, and I appreciate bloggers who aren't afraid to put themselves out there in every way.  Blogs rock!

as I think many websites are already too wordy!  ;o)
However, interesting musings, experiences, rants, and questions posted on these boards will get my attention - because of the often lively or humorous exchanges that result. Blogs seem more like watching porn - basically a solo activity!

My first preference is a woman with a good website so that I can get a good idea of who she is before meeting her.  If that website includes her blog then that will also help me to get to know her and help me to know if we have compatible interests.

You go girl -- blog away! Sounds like byou want to express yourself.  IMHO -- would love to hear what you have to say.

who want to see nothing more than pics and rates on your web site.

There are those who want to learn as much as they can about you as a person; your ideas and thoughts, your opinions and experiences.

I tend to be one who would like to know more about someone before meeting them.

I guess if you start to blog, you should do it for yourself. The guys who want to learn more about you can, and the guys who don't can skip reading the blog. Do what makes you happy.

there are too many ways to turn someone off with an opinion -   and I think that unless you prefer to do a lot of handholding and pseudo-therapy and have a clientele that wants to be privileged to know your business it can be a mistake....

That blogs are often mined for information by LE at the federal and local level.  This applies to your tweets and public Facebook postings.  Also consider that these same blogs are available for review by current future employers.  Social media is great but remember, private means private.

I really like blogs by providers.  The reason is I get to know them in a different light so to speak.  The blog forces the reader to realize that the provider is a person, a person with feelings, goals, opinions, etc and not just a sex toy.  It will also add to the conversation during the dates as now I would know some of the interests she has, and so forth.  Yes, I enjoy reading blogs from providers.

On a traditional forum I'd hit you with just a meme.

Takes effort to read without paragraphs and causes people to ignore. I gotta mentally prepare, haha.

As the hobby is fast food service compared to the real world of cooking at home when it comes to the end goal....hence, I prefer short twitter style comments, lol.

I'd like to see comparisons done with a split picture and 140 characters unless it's something educational. For fun and simple insight brevity is more appealing.

I think that's a very personal type of question, by that I mean it really depends on just what the writer needs to get out of the process.

I think if you're looking for a following or responses all I would suggest is give it a try -- though I'm not entirely sure what the best forum for that would be.

On the other hand, blogging can be a bit like keeping a diary/journal and in that case whether it's shared or private may be irrelevant as long as one get's their internal states expressed and articulated rather than leaving them in that conceptual language.
