As you can see by my review I've been around TER since 2001 and I'm AA. I've given up, for the most part, on commenting on the "Racism" subject. IMHO there is no such thing as "Racism" in the hobby. For one, the "transaction" is too intimate to even consider Racism. I don't want to see anyone who does not want to see me because I'm AA or ANY OTHER reason (my feet too big, my eyes too brown, etc, etc, etc.) I welcome and encourage ladies to state their preferences...WHATEVER they are! This saves me a whole bunch of time and I keep it moving! And it's also been my experience that for every 1 lady who does not see AA men there are 6+ who do and welcome them. During our allotted time I want balls to the wall freedom of sexual expression. Hence, whatever you're comfort zone/s are let it be known and I'll adjust accordingly. The Hobby world is totally different then which water fountain I can drink out of and what restaurants I can eat at. If I ever see a sign for "colored," "white," at the restroom I'm gonna blow that shyt up. When I see a sign by a provider that says "white only" I say thank you!
Secondly, Race/nationality/ethnicity notwithstanding we all have preferences. Some prefer blondes vs. brunettes, some prefer dark skin vs fair skin; and the preferences go on and on and on. In the hobby world and/or intimate "transactions" our preferences are heightened IMHO, at least more so on the client side. Providers, for the most part, accept clients based on "trust" and safety. I have never been asked what are my measurements? do I have a beer belly i.e. questions based on the providers preferences in male physical appearance. But I digress you get my point.
The point of this post is to respond to a comment made on the thread about why ladies don't see AA men and one of the respondents made the point that the majority of us have failed statistics.
With that I had to provide this counter. Statistics are many times interpreted based on our own biases.
Hence I offer this article as food for thought
