A question about ED meds

I'm interested in getting a prescription for ED medication, but need to be absolutely sure that this information never becomes available to other members of my household (in the form of mailings or information on health insurance web sites, etc).  However, I have no previous experience in receiving prescription medicine so am not sure if this is feasible.  Here are my questions:

1) If I obtain a prescription from my own doctor who has no contact with other members of my family, is there any likelihood that anything related to this will be forwarded to my home?

2) If I purchase the meds independent of my health insurance (which doesn't cover this anyway), at a pharmacy that does no other service to my family, is there any information that could arrive at my home?

Thanks for any info or advice

your medical information, includiing prescription drugs, cannot be shared with anyone without your written permission.

Your post is most peculiar and I have to share my thought process. If you don't want your "household" to know then you probably perform for your wife and don't need a PDE5 inhibitor. If you took prescription drugs you would already know your answer so if you don't take any prescription drugs for common health issues that cause ED then you probably don't need a PDE5 inhibitor. So if you don't have ED what makes you think you can walk out of your PCP's office with a script for a bottle of boner pills? This shit is nothing to play with and if you did really have a heart attack with a PDE5 inhibitor in your system then the ER visit could kill you and your "household" would find out.

Ok with that said, I don't have ED but I love PDE5 inhibitors. If you have any inkling of "addiction" issues like I do with women and sex then you should think twice before heading down this slippery slope. I started with Viagra that I bought in Mexico on vacation. I was there with a retired adult entertainer who left her husband at home to spend a couple weeks with me in the riviera maya. We both took Viagra and were immediately "hooked" and we both brought some home. Cheap to buy there if you know anyone going (hint). After that and relating my story to friends I found that guys with prescriptions sometimes sell pills and this is a good way to try one out, so ask around (hint). I've found that La Pela from the Dominican is Cialis and is my absolute fav! La Pela translates to "the beating" lol. It's much cheaper to have a connection to send your pills from out of the states. I've found that Cialis last for longer than advertised, even at low doses.

Ok so then you can ask your Doc. You'll get your prostate checked...really nice if your into ass play. You'll get blood drawn. You might get a cardiac work up with a stress test. All fine because they might find something along the way. It's always nice to know your healthy, right. Your insurance will pay part of the cost if your Doc says you have ED. Start with samples if you can't buy any from friends or while on vacation. I found I like Cialis much better than Viagra. If you have normal erections don't take whole pills because your "household" will know something's up. Some providers frown upon PDE5 inhibitor users but I'm not sure why.

Good luck and have fun

Well, my situation is not really that complicated.  I haven't had sex with my wife for years (literally), so if she found out I had a prescription for Cialis, the meaning would be obvious.  Don't ask me why I stay in the marriage if the situation is so bad.  It is so bad, but I have exactly two reasons for staying.

In any case:  A year ago, on a whim, I got my primary care physician to give me some trial Cialis tablets due to a claimed ED problem. He gave me the samples pretty much with no questions asked. My purpose was to be able to keep it up throughout an appointment.  I figured for the amount of money I'm spending in this hobby, I should be able to keep it up for the whole 1 to 1.5 hours.  Well, it works as intended! An added benefit is that I haven't dropped dead (I am in pretty good physical condition).

So, my plan is to go back to the Doc, tell him how much it has improved my sex life (such as it is), and ask for a prescription.  Sure, if he wants to perform some additional testing on me, I will comply.  What hoops is one expected to jump through to get this stuff?  Is he going to make me "prove" that I can't get it up (shouldn't be a problem - he's not that attractive).  Is it really that difficult to get a prescription?  Any info on that, and further assurance that the prescription information won't get home through whatever means, would be appreciated.

Offshore source may also be poorly regulated or completely unregulated.  And you have no real way to tell online.  Even if someone you know just bought a 'good' batch, you don't know if the next one will be the same.

If I can get it by script here in the USA (and I am considering that for exactly the same reasons as OP) I see no reason to gamble by buying from Russian Mafia spammers.  The hobby is already a gamble

Do I really have to travel to Central America or beg people I don't know to get these pills? Or obtain pills through an online site (forcing me to get a post box) from overseas (which may or may not provide medication with sufficient active ingredient).  I hope not.

Can you pm me some reliable suppliers?

Thx

If you get prescriptions from your doc, nothing may happen for years.
But if you apply for a new insurance plan, the insurance policy reviewers will research all your insurance prescriptions and ask you about them.
You may be able to avoid it if you pay out of plan. (Not 100% sure that this avoids the risk).
So your 'household' may find out if you are answering the insurance audit questions together. You may have forgotten about it by then. I thought they couldn't get that info due to hipaa. But it seems the health insurance companies can get the insurance card prescription info and start asking why it was ordered/ taken.
My 2 cents.

I'm glad to hear you've tried samples and the door is open with your PCP. You should go ask for a script written for as many pills as you can afford at one time and pay cash at the pharmacy. Docs are always writing for 6 because a lot of prescription plans have monthly limits. Call around for prices beforehand so you know how many you'd like to pay for at one time. Checkout the Costco app; it has their prices for medicines and gives you an idea of what they should cost.

My initial reply was just my crazy way of telling you to try before you buy. I have a friend that doesn't like them because he says it makes his wiener feel like an "inanimate object", and I've experienced that feeling also.

And a word about offshore meds. Our meds are made offshore like everything else. Most medical stuff is developed and tested in other countries for years before the FDA allows testing here. The stuff I've gotten abroad is top shelf. Have fun!

As I recall, ordering on line is a good option, however it does have to be mailed somewhere.  As I understand it, having it mailed to a post office box (which allows for it to be outside one's home), requires someone to sign for it.  Or have things changed?  Suggestions/ideas
