I have read a lot of great reviews about Lela and a few are very recent.
When I reached by text she told me she is not seeing anyone because
of the pandemic. Has anyone seen her in the last 10 months. I'm
thinking that maybe she is not ready to take on any new people like myself.

Many said to keep at it and she would eventually respond.  I reached out to her very 2-3 months for about two years before I lost interest.  She was on my list of the possible head queens in the DMV when I was looking to maybe put on the bi-weekly rotation offset by my bi-weekly visits with my oral ATF.  I’ve heard stories from other providers about her husband being involved in the selection/screening, that she had a another kid and was only seeing regulars, but I couldn’t tell you if any of that is true.

Another possibility is that the review is a fake, posted by someone trying to get their free membership.

That is most likely the truth actually.  I didn’t actually read her latest reviews myself.  Fakes are getting bold (lazy) too.  For example, I just read a review on Sienna York last night and it was an abbreviated copy and paste of the review two reviews down from it.

I contacted Lela after reading several reviews in late March.  It took a couple of texts, but she finally replied in early April and told me her situation. It doesn't look like she's in Maryland now, but will be back in early June. She told me to reach out to her after June 1st. It sounds promising so reach out to Lela.

I just got a text from her a few days ago. Asked her if she was planning on seeing anyone new these days. She replied back right away and said that she is working full time at a new job as is not planning on seeing anyone. Didn't know if that applied only to newbies. Maybe she is still seeing regulars, but I did not push the issue. Didn't want to upset her. Maybe in the future, she'll come back to the hobby.

She’s around but only works 3-4 days a week usually noon to 5. She books quick though. I’ve been seeing her for years on and off, she texted me her updated “office hours”  a little while ago. No clue how she’s handling newbies these days but she is out there.
