In a perfect world

This is probably addressed to the Moderator of the DC Board or anyone else who might have an answer for me.

When someone post a review they enter the providers age, weight, rate, etc... Now does the moderator or whoever is reviewing those reviews update any relevant information? I'm asking due to the fact that after a few years the age of the provider will definitley change and I feel that should be updated, her body might change too and also her services. I have seen some prices increase, shouldn't that be updated as well?

As a provider, I have been able to update the information myself on my general profile, above my reviews, without problem.  Perhaps other providers do not know that.

Those changes would be made. In this world, it is not the responsibility of our Moderator. In this world, the details aren't always consistent from one review to the next. The best you get is what comes from a providers first review and follow up's that provide in the session descriptions noted changes from the original profile.

For me, it is best to look at as much information as possible not just limited to the profile, but including the review descriptions, board posting, website info, in order to make the informed decision to see a provider.

If anyone felt they could do a better job, I would be one of the first to join a new review board that was perfect and stop using all other resources to make my decisions - but that would only happen if I lived in a perfect world.

These suggestions should also be posted to the other board - suggestions and policies - did you?

You could also send this suggestion and your questions to admin or staff.

When you post a review, they don't look at any of those sections at all to update information.  They just look at enough to identify which profile your review should go with, so usually they are looking at the website address.

Now you can post a correction through the system as a problem report.  It takes about 2-3 days for them to tell you if they'll accept it or not.  I have successfully done this to report changes in rates or "bi" status of a provider I've seen (like with Karina).  If they reject it they'll give you the reason but thus far they've accepted everyone of my PRs.

Thanks Slipry, but i will suggest this to the admin and staff. I know that the inital info is what is kept but maybe going foward the last review should update the providers profile.

LowProfile, i'm not sure a lot of the providers go into TER and update their data. Probably best to have us hobbiers do the updating since we are probably on this board more often than the providers, but i could be wrong.

I can see myself reading some awesome review in 3-4 years from now of a 25 year old, great pictures, book her and find out she is as old as my grandma. LOL, just kidding but i hope you know what i mean.

There's something like 75 fields you have to fill out in a review each time you submit one.  The odds are high there may be some questions you don't know the answer of (ex: you may not have asked for Greek or you don't know if they're bi) or maybe you may mistype an email, phone or webaddress.  Now if you're diligent, you may cross-reference the provider's original profile and make sure you fill in the ones you're not sure about with the original info.  But let's say there's some reviewer...even ONE reviewer who isn't that careful.  Or maybe who misunderstands and puts down "no" or "don't know" on bi because they didn't have a session with a provider so they could tell, when in the original profile and previous reviews it's clear it's on the menu. Then, unfortunately, everyone subsequent to that person may continue to make that mistake because they cross-reference a profile.  Or, let's say a provider has gone through the trouble of correcting something only to have a hobbyist repeatedly type in different wrong stuff again and again...it would be annoying to say the least, especially if they claim services she won't do.

I could see this becoming a logistical nightmare.  I like the system of seeing something specifically wrong in a profile and submitting a problem reports.  It's a very easy process.  You type in the problem and submit it.

What I wish is they would take out the 75 whatever fields in the review and just put down enough for TER to ID the provider you're reviewing.  And, make it clear in FAQ and so on to educate people that problem reports is what you use to correct profiles.  Plus, you get two days free on TER when you correct a mistake.  Which is pretty nice.

Amen on requiring the fill out of those 75 lines each time a review is submitted, GirlinDC.  Especially since TER updates little or none of it from our reviews.  It is such a waste of time and clearly discourages the submittal of reviews.  I have been trying to get that change since I have been on TER.  So have others.
