Yes, geographically DC, VA and MD are close, but I don't travel outside of the Baltimore beltway due to BAD traffic around 495 and 270 (those in the area know what I am talking about). Columbia, Inner Harbor, Fells Point, Towson, Catonsville, Glen Burnie have enough ladies that we are strong enough to hold our own and I like going to one board and seeing who is where instead of weeding through the DC and/or VA board.

My home base is in Baltimore and I don't really go to DC or VA all that often. I like having a separate ad board for Maryland. My Monday ads are still on the page for Maryland, where out of towners can easily find them. The discussion board doesn't have much activity because so many guys (and gals) don't like change, just like so many didn't like the "new" TER. It will eventually grow, I believe, but it won't happen if you don't use it.
It seems to me the main reason we added more regional boards was to accomodate ladies' ads. Since we have separate regional ad boards now, I would love to see MD, DC and VA back together as one again.
The reason to have a separate Maryland board was to unclutter the DC board because too many posts (mostly ads) were overwhelming local discussion topics and pushing threads beyond the first page where they are never read.
Now that there are exclusive ad boards, I agree with you that DC/MD/NoVA should return as one.
Only where the ads are placed. As long as there is a Maryland board topics that are specific to that general are should be posted there and vice versa.
